The language integrates scientific metaphor with perceptual contemplation, juxtaposing astronomical measurement, geological textures, and bodily sensation, so that nature is no longer a background but becomes a readable and writable “cosmic text.”
Formally, the poems employ short-line fragmentation and leaps in imagery, creating a rhythm akin to a “fragmented star map,” which enhances both visual tension and philosophical depth. Their strengths lie in highly refined imagery, a strong sense of spatiality, and an organic interdisciplinary fusion, revealing a sustained inquiry into the relations between time, matter, and consciousness.
Overall, this is a form of “contemplative cosmic lyricism,” where emotional restraint contains an expanding spirituality. His profound and highly distilled style bears a resemblance to the Chinese poet Qu Yuan’s famous line, “The road ahead is long and far; I will search up and down,” embodying a poetic spirit of perpetual inquiry into existence, the cosmos, and the self.(By Christine Chen)

红籽如宝石;
亲密的话语轻轻展开;

𝐇𝐄 𝐥𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐔𝐌𝐍 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐓 𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐒

The pomegranate trees;
Full of red ruby seeds
Full of jewelry beads;
The jewelry beads
Embedded in shields;
The shields
Full of sweet and bitter weeps;
The sweet and bitter weeps
Flows through human lives;
The human lives
Full of shades and glitter lits;
The glitter lits
On a flory plain in pretty reds;
The pretty reds
Over the chaise;
The chaise with tea ware parties,
The parties, full of intimacies
The intimacies with raw almonds, tricolor is
In the last autumn sunsets
Under the pomegranate trees
The spirit of honesty breeze
In the peace pure jungles.

𝐇𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐖𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐄

One day the storm of war ends
No more fishes swim in black waves
No white birds will fly in black smokes
Eyes will never shed red tears
Sun will never wear mourning clothes
White birds fly high in bright cosmos
A drop of peace dew will make peace of seas
And new fishes will swim in new seas
Songs of peace will echo everywheres
World farm will be green with olive trees

蓝天微朦,河水澄明;
浪花击石,宛如民谣;

R𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗧

my eyes, surfing on a river
The blue tide was sliding on each other
The river was the mirror of nature
The nature was mirror of super nature
Riverside was playing a symphony
Rivertide had a gentle rhapsody
Cieling and floor were painted in two hue
The bottom and the top were painted blue
Swallows were flying over the old caves
Tiny fish were jumping out of the waves
Dream words were emerging from the river
Reals were appeared on flat mirror
Opaque blue sky, transparent river
White cloud brides in sky, rubbles in water
Ballads, by splashing water on the rocks
Boats were sailing on water like swift ducks
Watermelons were dipped in chill water
To cool themselves down in the hot weather
The words inside me floated on tides
The fish were swallowing my poetic baits
Dumb little mermaid, with her big keen eyes
At distant sunseting, gazed at sunrise

Editorials:

Mehrangiz Talaiezadeh’s poetry continues the vivid visual aesthetics of her painting, constructing a richly colored poetic world through imagery such as pomegranates, white birds, and rivers.
