　　2026年3月1日至3日，世界思想家和作家和平大會及國際圖書節在印度加尔各答扶轮社隆重举行。本次大会主办方为國際跨文化研究與學會（ISISAR）。

爲期三天的國際會議以“文學促進韌性、希望和社會和諧”爲中心，彙集了來自印度和全球的著名思想家、詩人、翻譯家、出版商和文化領袖，以對話、多樣性和創造性为宗旨。ISISAR专门为本届图书节出版新书籍二十多部，以英语、孟加拉语、越南语、阿拉伯语等多语种同时发刊。本次图书节共有数百部图书参展。

出席的國際作家和诗人有包括來自澳大利亞、越南、埃及、西班牙、新西蘭、孟加拉國、庫爾德斯坦、瑞士、丹麥和波蘭等国。

此次活動由蘇塔努卡·戈什·羅伊、南迪塔·薩曼塔、索姆杜塔·查託帕迪亞和蘇迪普託·查特吉共同召集，並由一羣傑出的文學策展人和學者進行協調。

From March 1 to 3, 2026, the World Thinkers and Writers Peace Conference and International Book Festival was grandly held at the Rotary Club in Kolkata, India. The event was organized by the International Society for Intercultural Studies and Research (ISISAR).

The three-day international gathering centered on the theme “Literature Promoting Resilience, Hope, and Social Harmony.” It brought together distinguished thinkers, poets, translators, publishers, and cultural leaders from India and around the world, united by a commitment to dialogue, diversity, and creativity.

For this edition of the Book Festival, the International Society for Intercultural Studies and Research (ISISAR) specially published more than twenty new titles, released simultaneously in multiple languages, including English, Bengali, Vietnamese, and Arabic.

In total, several hundred books were showcased at this year’s Book Festival.

Participating international writers and poets came from Australia, Vietnam, Egypt, Spain, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Kurdistan, Switzerland, Denmark, Poland, and other countries, reflecting the truly global character of the event.

The conference was convened by Sutanuka Ghosh Roy, Nandita Samanta, Somdutta Chattopadhyay, and Sudipto Chatterjee, and coordinated by a team of distinguished literary curators and scholars.

The Book Festival concluded in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Voices Across Horizons



This anthology brings together poets from five continents, gathering a chorus of voices shaped by distinct geographies, climates, histories, and folklores. From the ice-lit stillness of America to the dense urban rhythms of Asia, from the ancestral echoes of Africa to the wide salt breath of Oceania, from the medieval stone to the modern steel of Europe, these poems remind us that language is both rooted and migratory. Each poet writes from a specific landscape, yet the emotional terrain—love, exile, memory, resistance, belonging—feels universally shared.

What makes this collection remarkable is not merely its geographical span but also its tonal diversity. The poems carry different cadences: some whisper in sparse lines, others surge with narrative force; some are steeped in Indigenous memory, while others wrestle with modern fracture. Together, they form a living atlas—one that maps human experience rather than borders.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Chris Chen, our Guest Editor, whose thoughtful curation and discerning editorial vision have shaped this anthology into a coherent yet polyphonic whole. With sensitivity and rigor, she has woven together voices that might otherwise never have met on the same page. Her commitment to inclusivity, craft, and dialogue has ensured that this book is not just a compilation, but a conversation across oceans.
