　　分配土地的大事被搁到一边了，黑娃和他的农会骨干们整天忙着组织训练农协武装。梭镖矛子和大刀上了红绸，看起来挺威风的三百多人的武装队伍，在白鹿镇游行了一回就散伙了，因为小麦黄了要收要碾了。等得小麦收打完毕进入三伏，庄稼院桃树上的毛桃发白了又变红了，革命的形势却愈见险恶。国民党和共产党共同组建的国民党省党部宣布解放，共产党和国民党共同组成的省农民协会也被勒令解散停止一切活动，国民党主持陕政的省府于主席被调回国民党中央，一位姓宋的主席临陕接替。

　　The news that Tian Fuxian had returned to the plain spread to all the villages in Bailuyuan within half a day. The gentry and wealthy people who had been persecuted, paraded, and purged cried and complained about their sufferings with tears and snot, while many activists of the Farmers' Association or their fathers confessed to him with shame on their faces. At first, Tian Fuxian was immersed in the revenge he had longed for, but soon he came to his senses: "Go back. Everyone go back first. Brothers have too many things to do when they just got back." He deployed militia soldiers at the door to stop everyone who came to see him. Some people could not see him, so they entrusted the militia soldiers to pass on gifts such as liquor and snacks to him. Tian Fuxian took those things in his hands and threw them on the rubble in the yard without even looking at them, and a rough gust of air blew out of his nose: "It's not time to drink yet!"
