Underneath the night sky,

Where whispers come alive with the rain,

Memories dance like the leaves of my lonely magnolia tree,

And once again, you’re seen.

The wind still carries your name,

A spark that won’t fade away with the flame.

The echoes of us, they call,

Through the cracks of time, they fall.

We move on, but something lingers behind,

A melody only hearts can understand.

The moonlight shadow traces where we once stood,

Though what happened,

we never understood.

The stars remember our song,

And wonder how it all went wrong.

If I could turn back the tide,

You might still be by my side.

But now the silence speaks it all,

The past can never become the now.

So I sing where memories stay,

In echoes, we’ll never fade away.

Let untold stories remain untold,

Let feelings grow distant and cold,

If only we could
