China is the mother who has cultivated us.</p><p class="ql-block">Don't you think this mother lovable?</p><p class="ql-block">我想你们是和我一样的见解，都觉得这位母亲是蛮可爱、蛮可爱的。</p><p class="ql-block">I believe you will have the same idea, as I have, that our mother is lovely indeed.</p><p class="ql-block">以言气候，中国处于温带，不十分热，也不十分冷，好像我们母亲的体温，不高不低，最适宜于孩儿们的偎依。</p><p class="ql-block">In terms of her climate, China is in the temperate zone, which is neither very hot, nor very cold. It is just like our mother's temperature, which is neither high nor low. It is most suitable for us children to snuggle up to.</p> <p class="ql-block">中国土地的生产力是无限的；地底蕴藏着未开发的宝藏也是无限的；</p><p class="ql-block">又岂不象征着我们的母亲，保有着无穷的乳汁，无穷的力量，以养育她四万万的孩儿？我想世界上再没有比她养得更多的孩子的母亲吧。</p><p class="ql-block">The productivity of China's land is unlimited. There is no limit to the unexploited treasures hidden in the ground. Doesn’t it symbolize our mother, who has infinite milk and infinite strength to raise her 400 million sons and daughters? I don't think there is any mother in the world who raises more children than her does.</p><p class="ql-block">中国是无地不美，到处皆景，这好像我们的母亲，她是一个天姿玉质的美人，她的身体的每一部分，都有令人爱慕之美。中国海岸线之长而且弯曲，照现代艺术家说来，这象征我们母亲富有曲线美吧。</p><p class="ql-block">China has no place that is not beautiful, and she has scenery everywhere. It's like our mother. She is a beautiful woman with unusual talent and superb content. Every part of her body is adorably beautiful. China's coastline is long and curved. According to modern artists, this symbolizes that our mother is full of curvy beauty.</p> <p class="ql-block">中国民族在很早以前，就造起了一座万里长城和开凿了几千里的运河，这就证明中国民族伟大无比的创造力！中国在战斗之中一旦得到了自由与解放，这种创造力将会无限的发挥出来。</p><p class="ql-block">Long ago, the Chinese nation built the 10 thousand-li Great Wall and dug the Grand Canal of thousands of miles, which proves how incomparable the great creativity of the Chinese nation is! Once China is free and liberated in the battle, this creativity will be brought into full play.</p><p class="ql-block">到那时，中国的面貌将会被我们改造一新。到那时，到处都是活跃跃的创造，到处都是日新月异的进步。</p><p class="ql-block">At that time, China's face will be transformed into a new one by us. By that time, there will be active creation and rapid progress everywhere.</p><p class="ql-block">欢歌将代替了悲叹，笑脸将代替了哭脸。富裕将代替了贫穷，康健将代替了疾苦。智慧将代替了愚昧，友爱将代替了仇杀。</p><p class="ql-block">Merry songs will replace lamentation, smiling faces will replace crying faces. Wealth will replace poverty, and health will replace suffering. Wisdom will replace ignorance, and friendship will replace revenge.</p><p class="ql-block">生之快乐将代替了死之悲哀，明媚的花园，将代替了凄凉的荒地！</p><p class="ql-block">The happiness of life will replace the sorrow of death, and the beautiful garden will replace the desolate wasteland!</p> <p class="ql-block">这时，我们民族就可以无愧色的立在人类的面前，而生育我们的母亲，也会最美丽地装饰起来，与世界上各位母亲平等的携手了。</p><p class="ql-block">Only at this time, can our nation stand in front of human beings without shamefulness, and will the mother cultivated us be the most beautifully decorated mother and join hands with all mothers in the world equally.</p><p class="ql-block">这么光荣的一天，决不在辽远的将来，而在很近的将来！</p><p class="ql-block">Such a glorious day will never be in the distant future, but in the near future!</p> <p class="ql-block">《可爱的中国》作者简介</p><p class="ql-block">方志敏，1899年生，江西省弋阳县人。1922年8月加入中国社会主义青年团。1924年3月加入中国共产党。1928年至1933年，领导起义的农民坚持游击战争，实行土地革命，建立红色政权，组建了中国工农红军第10军，创建了赣东北革命根据地。他把马克思主义普遍真理与赣东北实际相结合，创造了一整套建党、建军和建立红色政权的经验。1934年11月初，方志敏率红军北上抗日，在皖南遭国民党重兵围追堵截，艰苦奋战，终因寡不敌众，于1935年1月被捕。在狱中，他写下了《我从事革命斗争的略述》、《可爱的中国》、《清贫》、《狱中纪实》等重要文著。1935年8月6日，在南昌英勇就义，时年36岁。</p><p class="ql-block"> 方志敏同志具有坚定正确的理想和信念，不论在什么样的情况下，都始终不渝、毫不动摇。他坚持理论联系实际，一切从实际情况出发，不断开创事业发展的新局面。他始终保持旺盛的革命斗志，为了党和人民的利益，不屈不挠，英勇奋斗。他一身正气，清正廉洁，始终保持共产党人的政治本色和革命气节。方志敏同志的一生是短暂的，但是，他的光辉业绩和崇高品德，将永垂青史，他对革命事业的耿耿忠心，党和人民永远也不会忘记。</p> <p class="ql-block">翻译说明</p><p class="ql-block">《可爱的中国（诗歌版）》改编自 革命烈士方志敏著《可爱的中国》。改编版原文来自网络，改编者不详。2022年8月10日下午，译审诗琳外语参观了方志敏烈士故居，集体朗诵了《可爱的中国》选段，颇受感动、颇受教育。现发布《可爱的中国（诗歌版）》中、英文，以纪念革命烈士方志敏，激励来者，继续革命。</p><p class="ql-block">译审:谢诗琳（翻译了一部分）</p><p class="ql-block">特别说明:部分译文计算机辅助翻译。</p><p class="ql-block">下图为:江西开放大学人武学院“追寻方志敏烈士足迹”红色走读主题党日活动剪影（摄影:郑霞）</p>
