Personally, I couldn't care less about football.<br>今天，我要跟你们坦白一下，其实我为孩子的足球训练所花的钱，并不是为了足球。我自己一点儿也不在乎我的孩子足球踢得怎么样。<br><br>So, if I am not paying for football, what am I paying for?<br>这么说来，如果我花这份钱并不是为了孩子足球踢得多好，那么我是为了什么呢？<br></font></h3> <h3><font color="#010101">I pay for those moments when my kids become so tired they want to quit but don't.<br>我是为了那些当我的孩子累得想要退出却最终坚持下来的时刻。<br><br>I pay for those days when my kids come home from school and are "too tired" to go their practice but go anyway.<br>我是为了那些当我的孩子放学回到家，喊着“太累了”而不能去训练，却仍然坚持去球场的日子。</font></h3> <h3><font color="#010101">I pay for my kids to learn to be disciplined.<br>我是为了让我的孩子学会遵守纪律和规则。<br><br>I pay for my kids to learn to take care of their body.<br>我是为了让我的孩子学会爱护自己的身体。<br><br>I pay for my kids to learn to work with others and to be good team mates.<br>我是为了让我的孩子学习如何与他人合作，并成为一个好的队友。</font></h3> <h3><font color="#010101">I pay for my kids to learn to deal with disappointment, when they go to games but don't get that score they'd hoped for, but still have to work hard in the preparation and competition.<br>我是为了让我的孩子学习如何面对失望和挫折，当他们去踢比赛，在赛场上没有踢进他们希望的进球时，却依然要精神昂扬的更加努力的去跑动及拼抢。<br><br>I pay for my kids to learn to make and accomplish goals.<br>我是为了让我的孩子学会设定目标并完成目标。</font></h3> <h3><font color="#010101">I pay for my kids to learn that it takes hours and hours and hours and hours of hard work and practice to create a champion, and that success does not happen overnight.<br>我是为了让我的孩子明白任何冠军的背后都是日复一日、日复一日的非常努力的训练，没有人可以在一夜之间成功。<br><br>I pay for the opportunity my kids have and will have to make life-long friendships.<br>我是为了让我的孩子有机会现在以及他长大以后，认识一些可以陪他一生的好朋友。<br><br>I pay so that my kids can be in the fresh air instead of in front of a screen...<br>我是为了让我的孩子能够在户外新鲜的空气里奔跑，而不是盯着电子屏幕……</font></h3> <h3><font color="#010101">I could go on but, to be short <br>我还能继续往下说出好多来，不过简单来讲<br><br>I don't pay for football, I pay for the opportunities that the football provide my kids with to develop attributes that will serve them well throughout their lives and give them the opportunity to bless the lives of others. <br>我花这份钱并不是为了让孩子把球踢得多好，而是为了通过踢足球，帮他们养成一些将受益一生的优秀品质，并且让他们学会去真诚欣赏他人的生活。<br><br>From what I have seen so far I think it is a great investment!<br>目前看来，我觉得这份投资真是太值了！<br></font></h3>
