为了让孩子体验亲手制作美食的乐趣，同时学到与美食相关的英文，本学期新增英语烹饪课。9月13日，豆豆班和小班的小朋友率先体验了烹饪课，了解英文食谱，学习不同的配料和烹饪词汇。好吃又好玩的英语课，小朋友都喜欢极了❤❤❤

In order for children to enjoy the fun in cooking while learning English, Springfield Kindergarten hold an English Cooking Class this month. During the English Cooking Class, children will learn to follow a recipe and learn about different ingredients and cooking vocabulary. The kids all love it and enjoy a lot in the English Cooking Class❤❤❤

FRESH FRUIT BOWL

Ingredients (Serves 1):

2 red grapes

2 green grapes

¼ apple

¼ peach

Directions:

· Wash the fruits thoroughly and remove the grapes from the branches.

· Slice the bananas, peaches and apples into bite size pieces.

· Place the cut fruits into a bowl and stir.

Ingredients (For 1 Piece):

1 slice puff pastry dough

1 teaspoon of jam (strawberry, raspberry or blueberry)

1 egg

Directions:

· Roll the dough out and cut it to form isosceles triangles with two equal sides.

· Place 1 teaspoon of jam at the base of the triangle and the roll the dough inward (jam inside) to the tip of the triangle.

· Preheat the oven to 180C.

· Place croissants in baking pan line with parchment paper (each croissant should be 2cm apart).

· Beat 1 egg; brush the top of the croissants with egg wash.

· Place in oven and bake croissants for for about 15 to 20 minutes until pastries are golden brown.
