　　纳米比亚共和国位于非洲西南部，北靠安哥拉和赞比亚，东连博茨瓦纳，南接南非。干旱少雨，属亚热带、半沙漠性气候。

The Republic of Namibia is located in the southwest of Africa, north of Angola and Zambia, east Botswana and South Africa. Droughts are less rainy, subtropical and semi-desert.

　　当我们作旅游功课的时候，我们看到，在遥远的非洲大陆，有一个部族的女人一生从不洗澡，取而代之的是不断向自己的身体上涂抹红色的稀泥，并且这种做法被视为是一种美的象征。这就是生活在非洲南部纳米比亚沙漠腹地的辛巴族人。带着好奇与疑问，我们来到了纳米比亚北部的一个辛巴人村庄。

When we made the tourism plan , we saw that the women of a tribal have never take a bath life the instead to daub on the body of his red mudin in the distant Africa continent ，and this kind of practice is regarded as a symbol of beauty. That's simba of life in Namibia desert hinterland in South African. With wonder and curiosity, we came to village of simba located in the north of Namibia .

　　散居于纳米比亚北部的辛巴族部落，总人数不足两万，一切都保留着 原始的生活形态。

Simba tribe of live scattered in the north of namibia, the total number of less than twenty thousand, all retains the primitive life forms.

辛巴人的房子是由木头，树枝,牛粪和泥巴建造的。屋内面积一般有三四平方米，大一点的房屋也不过7平方米，一家人就生活在这里。

Simba's house mostly was built by wood, branches, cow dung and mud. House usually has three or four square meters of area, a bit bigger house but also 7 square meters, the family live right here.

　　辛巴族,女人比男人多，主要是因为当地的水质和食物原因，很多辛巴男孩在15岁前就夭折，近些年大约男女比例是1：11 。在这里的，男子一般都有至少四个妻子，即使这样，辛巴人的人口仍然在逐年减少。

Simba, women more than men, mainly because the local water and food, a lot of simba boy dying before the age of 15, in recent years, the male to female ratio is about 1:11. Here, men generally have at least four wives, even so, the population decrease still every year.

　　辛巴族女子也被称为“红泥人”。她们常年袒露上身，戴一些头饰和项链。最特别的是，她们用红色石粉和着奶油涂抹在身上，就连头发上也有。为此，辛巴部落通常被称为红泥人部落。

Simba women also referred to as the "red clay figurine." Their upper body don't wear clothes. all the year , some wearing headdress and necklace. The most special is that they use red powder mixing cream daub in the body, even in her hair. So,simba tribe is known usually as red clay figurine tribe.

　　她们为什么要这么做？一是为了抵御烈日暴晒，因为常年高温，二是可以防止蚊虫叮咬。我们看到，她们生活的环境里，苍蝇，蚊子实在是太多了。"为什么要抹红泥？"我问一个女孩，她告诉我，"这样多漂亮啊！

"Why would they do that? It is in order to resist the strong sunlight, because of high temperature all the year round, the second is to prevent mosquito bites. We see that their living environment, flies, mosquitoes is really too much. "Why should wipe red mud?" I asked a girl, she told me, "so how beautiful!"

　　目前，辛巴族人数量已不足两万。族内除了脱离了母系氏族外，一切都保留着原始人类的生活，聚集在一个个孤立的小村落里。成年的男孩子不甘寂寞，大多数远离家乡，寻找外面的世界。随着男人的比例逐年减少，专家预言：20年后，红泥人部落将不复存在。

At present, simba race number less than twenty thousand. Within the family, except out of the matriarchal everything retains the original human life, gathered in an isolated village. Most adult boys unwilling lonely, far from home, look for the outside world. As the proportion of men reduced year by year, experts predicted: 20 years later, red clay figurine tribes will not exist.

　　这是一对情侣 ，对我们的到访很感兴趣。他们很友善，也会讲英语。但是一经聊天，你就会发现他们对现代社会的很多常识还不了解。

They were lovers. Interested in our visit, they were very friendly, also could speak English. But once the chat, you could find them on a lot of common sense of the modern society was not understood.

　　下面是我们之间的一段对话。

“你们从哪里来？”

“中国。你知道中国吗？”

“不知道。”

“那你知道北京吗？”

“北京我知道。”

他又问： “中国在哪儿？”

“在地球的另一端。”（我手指了一下脚下）

他问：“你们家有多少牛，多少羊？”

“我们家没有牛，也没有羊。”，我回答， 他很惊讶，“没有羊，难道你们还能喝狗奶吗？”

The following was a dialogue between us. "Where was you from?" " China. Do you know China?" "I don't know." "Do you know Beijing?" "I know Beijing." Where is the "China?" "At the other end of the earth." (we pointed to the foot) he asked: "how many cones and sheep in your family ?" "Our family has no cow, no sheep." He was surprised. "no sheep, don't you can drink dog's milk ?"

　　在部落里，我们仅见到了几个男人。这个男人向我们介绍了他的4个妻子和他的十个孩子。然后他还告诉我们，他还有两个的情人。

In the tribe, we only known to a few men. The man told us about his four wives and ten of his children. And he also told us that he still has two lovers.

　　在辛巴部落，只要有三头牛，你就可以娶到一个老婆。通常，女人要带上自己的全部财产和男人结婚。大多数女人还要建房子供自己和孩子居住。下面的对话非常有趣。“你有这么多老婆，她们住在哪里？” “有时我们住在一起 。”“晚上，没有灯光，你能分清她们是谁吗？” “只要一摸到他的手，我立刻就知道她是哪一个……”你 真神！哈哈!

In simba tribes, If you has three cows, you can marry a wife. Normally, a woman should take all their property and married with the man .Most women has to build houses for themselves and their children to live in. The following dialogue was very interesting. "You has so many wife, where they live in ?" "We live together sometimes. " "In the evening, no light, the difference between them ,how are you?" "I'm just a touch of his hand, which one was, I immediately knew ." You was a god! Ha ha!

　　她和她的妈妈住在一起，屋子里没有任何家具，只有一张牛皮铺在地上。

She and her mother lived together, without any furniture in the room, only a piece of cowhide laid on the ground.

　　这个女人示范给我们如何在身上涂抹红泥。

This woman show us how to apply red mud.

　　红泥人没有洗澡的习惯。一生不洗澡。她点燃了一种香草，围绕全身熏了一下，她告诉我们，任何人和物品，只要被点燃的香草熏过，那将是最干净的了。

Red clay figurine no bathing habits. Life does not take a bath. She lit a vanilla, around the whole body smoked once, she tells us that anyone and things, as long as been lighted smoked vanilla, will be the cleanest.
