It was established in 1935 by President Roosevelt. Every year in the late autumn, about 1.5 million snow geese and other migratory birds stop at the Refuge. The best time for bird photography at the Refuge is 30 minutes before and after sunrise and sunset. </div><div><br></div><div><br></div>
