Ennio Morricone: was born 10 November 1928) is an Italian composer, orchestrator, conductor, and former trumpet player. A classmate of director Sergio Leone with whom he would form one of the great director/composer partnerships (right up there with Eisenstein & Prokofiev, Hitchcock & Herrmann, Fellini & Rota), Ennio Morricone studied at Rome's Santa Cecilia Conservatory, where he specialized in trumpet. His first film scores were relatively undistinguished, but he was hired by Leone for Per un pugno di dollari (1964) on the strength of some of his song arrangements. His score for that film, with its sparse arrangements, unorthodox instrumentation (bells, electric guitars, harmonicas, the distinctive twang of the jew's harp) and memorable tunes, revolutionized the way music would be used in Westerns, and it is hard to think of a post-Morricone Western score that doesn't in some way reflect his influence. Although his name will always be synonymous with the spaghetti Western, Morricone has also contributed to a huge range of other film genres: comedies, dramas, thrillers, horror films, romances, art movies, exploitation movies - making him one of the film world's most versatile artists. He has written nearly 400 film scores, so a brief summary is impossible, but his most memorable work includes the Leone films, Gillo Pontecorvo's La battaglia di Algeri (1966) , Roland Joffé's The Mission (1986), Brian De Palma's The Untouchables (1987) and Giuseppe Tornatore's Nuovo Cinema Paradiso (1988), plus a rare example of sung opening credits for Pier Paolo Pasolini's Uccellacci e uccellini (1966)......
Summary for the music:Despite the large amount of data proves that the composer of the film is Ennio Morricone (Example CHIMAI, IMDB, Soundtrack and the film ), but I do not know why it has not been included in the Ennio Morricone's filmography before 2015 in his official web site. Recently (September 2016), we finally see that it has been corrected (See below 2 screenshots). I think its theme music is a very excellent song. This song used the hyperactive beats, humorous tone, jocular words, brief summary of the social problems that the film will reveal, give people a deep impression. Its lyrics author is Audrey Nohra, and composer is Morricone, CHIMAI website gives a clear explanation for this (please view all of the screenshot below)

Introduce the famous theme song “The Ballad of Hank McCain”

English lyrics

No one knew better than McCain
that a man who thinks he's free
knocks his head against the wall
No man knew better than McCain
just how bitter it would be
to be beaten after all
No one knew better than McCain
they're the ones who fix the game
they're the ones with loaded dice
No one knew better than McCain
but they got him all the same
and they made him pay the price
