<p class="ql-block">方寸之间，圆满融洽。泥塑之道，始于点线面之交响。以点定骨位，以线连肌理，以面筑体量，三者交织，方能成就立体之躯。头部造型，贵在“圆中有方，方中有圆”——头顶取圆润之势，如苍穹覆顶；额头则方中带敛，似大地承托。眉弓与眉毛需立起，成一方块结构，非平贴于面，而是如屋檐般向前探出，与颧骨、下颌骨遥相呼应，构成面部的骨骼框架。颧骨如丘陵微隆，下颌骨似磐石稳踞，二者之间，肌肉群顺势铺展，起伏有致。口轮匝肌如马蹄形环绕唇周，饱满而富有张力；眼睛作半圆体，深嵌于眼窝之中，如珠藏匣；鼻梁则从眉心拔地而起，向前突出，成为面部的中轴脊梁。</p><p class="ql-block">节奏之美，藏于凹凸之间。发际线起第一道波澜，双眼窝陷下深邃的低谷，鼻底承上启下，嘴唇微凸如丘，下巴收束成峰，枕骨于脑后隆起，与额前遥相回响。一凹一凸，一收一放，如呼吸般自然，如乐章般起伏。皮肤之下，肌肉群若隐若现，非刻板描摹，而是以体块语言诉说生命的弹性与温度。</p><p class="ql-block">此塑像为程门立雪主人翁，杨时也，却自有其呼吸。我唤它作《方寸圆融》——“方”者，骨骼之刚正、结构之严谨；“圆”者，肌肤之温润、气息之流转。方寸之间，圆融无碍，是造物之理，亦是泥塑之魂。</p><p class="ql-block">Within this small space, harmony prevails. The art of clay sculpture begins with the symphony of points, lines, and surfaces. Points determine the bone positions, lines connect the textures, and surfaces build the volume. The interweaving of these three elements is necessary to create a three-dimensional form. The head shape is best described as "round within a square, square within a round" - the top of the head takes on a round shape, like the sky covering the top; the forehead is square with a hint of restraint, like the earth supporting. The brow arch and eyebrows need to stand upright, forming a block-like structure, not simply flatly attached to the surface, but like a roof, protruding forward, corresponding with the cheekbones and lower jawbones, forming the skeletal framework of the face. The cheekbones are like gentle hills, the lower jawbone like a stable rock, and between them, the muscle groups spread out smoothly and rhythmically. The orbicularis oris muscle wraps around the lips in a horseshoe shape, full and tense; the eyes are semi-circular, deeply embedded in the eye sockets, like pearls in a case; the nasal bridge rises from the center of the eyebrows, protruding forward, becoming the central spine of the face.</p><p class="ql-block">The beauty of rhythm lies in the interplay of concave and convex shapes. The hairline creates the first wave, the eye sockets sink into deep depressions, the base of the nose connects the upper and lower parts, the lips protrude slightly like hills, the chin is contracted into a peak, the occipital bone rises at the back of the head, echoing the front of the forehead. One concave and one convex, one contraction and one release, like natural breathing, like the ups and downs of a musical piece. Beneath the skin, the muscle groups are faintly visible, not rigidly depicted, but telling the story of the elasticity and temperature of life through volumetric language.</p><p class="ql-block">This statue has no name or surname, yet it has its own breathing. I call it "Square and Round Harmony" - "Square" represents the firmness of the bones and the rigor of the structure; "Round" represents the smoothness of the skin and the circulation of the breath.
