The cruise ship docked at St. John Port.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 圣约翰港是深水港，可以同时停泊多首大型邮轮，曾有挪威史诗号（Norwegian Epic，载客量约4200人） 等五艘邮轮同日停靠圣约翰港的记录。</p><p class="ql-block">St. John's Port is a deep-water harbor capable of accommodating multiple large cruise ships simultaneously, with a record of five cruise ships—including the Norwegian Epic (with a capacity of approximately 4,200 passengers)—berthing at St. John's on the same day.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 圣约翰是安提瓜和布达的首都、最大城市及主要港口，位于安提瓜岛西北海岸。它自1632年英国殖民时期起就是该地区的行政中心，1981年国家独立后成为首都。</p><p class="ql-block">St. John's is the capital, largest city, and main port of Antigua and Barbuda, located on the northwest coast of Antigua Island. In the 18th century, the British colonists built this fort to guard against French invasion. Everywhere we went, the people were very friendly and hospitable.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 尽可能的和当地人交流，了解风土人情，是旅行过程中要做的重要事情。安提瓜和巴布达的导游和司机给我留下了深刻的印象。</p><p class="ql-block">Engaging with locals and learning about their culture and way of life is an essential part of traveling. The guides and drivers in Antigua and Barbuda left a deep impression on me.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 司机是自行车运动员，62岁，有6个孩子。曾代表安提瓜和巴布达参加过1988年韩国首尔的奥运会自行车比赛，还参加过1991年在中国举办的世界自行车比赛。</p><p class="ql-block">The driver is a cyclist. He is 62 years old and has 6 children. He has represented Antigua and Barbuda in the Olympic cycling events held in Seoul, South Korea in 1988, and also participated in the World Cycling Championships held in China in 1991.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 安提瓜与巴布达是一个非常小的国家，适合想躺平、看海、不赶行程、不爱人挤人的人旅行者；不适合喜欢夜生活、买买买、看看看、逛逛逛的人。</p><p class="ql-block">Antigua and Barbuda is a very small country, ideal for travelers who want to relax, enjoy the sea, avoid tight schedules, and steer clear of crowds; it's not suitable for those who love nightlife, shopping sprees, sightseeing, or endless wandering.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 虽然有点累，首都圣约翰斯还是要好好地转一转。港口附近的街区很热闹，人很多，商店和餐厅也挺有特色。</p><p class="ql-block">Although a bit tired, the capital St. John's still deserves a good tour. The neighborhoods near the port are very lively, with a large number of people.
