The details on the head rendered with incised lines, delineating its large eyes and folds on the snout. The slit below the snout executed in a wedge shape and leaving a small connection between the snout and the end of the body. The neck is drilled through with a circular aperture for suspension. The stone a mottled green color with russet inclusions.</p><p class="ql-block"> The present lot is representative of pig-dragon carvings from the Hongshan Culture.
