Ancient ancestors observed the stars, mountains, and rivers, drawing lessons from nature and expressing them through characters, thus beginning the cultural tradition of the Eastern civilization. Each Oracle bone character is not just a simple linguistic symbol, but a spiritual carrier embodying the order of heaven and earth, natural rhythms, and humanistic beliefs. In particular, the characters 'Fu' and 'Shou' embody the most simple and grand life vision of the Chinese nation, which has lasted for thousands of years. They are core spiritual totems rooted deep in ancient civilization. Contemporary artist Li Gang Yichan, following the ancient method of creating characters, created a new Chinese painting system called the 'Heavenly Phenomenon School'. With the artistic core of 'imitating the laws of nature, understanding Taoism through images, and fusing ancient traditions with modern ones', he deeply explored the aesthetic and oriental philosophy of Oracle bones. He created two works of art on canvas, 'Like the East China Sea in Fortune' and 'Longevity is Better than Mount Nanshan'. These works, with their new Chinese style and vibrant colors, reconstruct the ancient images of the characters 'Fu' and 'Shou', deciphering the thousand-year symbols hidden within the glyphs, bringing the ancient Eastern path of praying for blessings and longevity to new life in contemporary art.

I. The right component "畐" depicts a full vessel, symbolizing abundance in all things, representing the nourishment of heaven and earth and a bountiful harvest. Blessing is the inclusive nourishment of water nurturing all things and the sea embracing all rivers; longevity is the steadfast, eternal foundation of mountains. Creation of the 'Heavenly Phenomena School': Ancient characters are newly painted with sky-high colors. Traditional themes of longevity are often limited to simple ink paintings or folkloric embellishments, either lacking antiquity and vitality, or featuring excessive colors and shallow context, making it difficult to restore the ancient characters' majestic atmosphere of reaching the heavens and grounding to all phenomena. Li Gang's 'One Zen Heavenly Phenomena School' art connects the ancient characters' creation logic: the ancestors observed the sky to create characters, and modern people painted the sky to create paintings. Both works use acrylic media on canvas, which fits the contemporary painting texture, and combines color layers and texture tension. The artist breaks through the monochrome shackles of traditional characters' painting, reshaping Oracle bones with colorful new Chinese color aesthetics. The colorful color blocks are not flashy, but simulate the natural hues of the heavens and earth: the vast seas of the East China Sea, the charm of mountains and rivers, the rotation of the stars, and the elegance of the four seasons, all embodied in the picture. 'Blessing Like the East China Sea' uses Oracle bones' blessings characters as the skeleton, with vivid and transparent colors, stretching in layers, like the vast smoke waves of the East China Sea, the flowing charm of mountains and rivers, interpreting the eternal blessings of longevity, the eternal existence of heaven and earth, and the endless cultural context. The simplicity and blankness of the new Chinese style, the blending of ancient and modern composition contexts, and the colorful and transparent color expression, activate the cold ancient characters into a tangible, comprehensible, and empathetic celestial atmosphere. It not only maintains the ancient vigor of Oracle bones' characters, but also opens a new aesthetic realm of contemporary visual art.

福,是对天地馈赠的感恩,是对人间安乐的期许;

III.
