In 2017, it was performed in Aarhus, European Capital of Culture, Denmark and earned widespread praise.</p><p class="ql-block">Its adagio depicts the long-standing vicissitudes of the Pearl River Basin. The allegro illustrates the booming development of the Pearl River Delta in the era of reform and opening-up, embodying the spirit of "The Great Tide Rises on the Pearl River". The magnificent finale looks forward to an even brighter future for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.</p>
