I Have Started Learning English Seriously.
我开始认真学英语了。

The first time I rented a car in the United States, I didn't speak a single word of English throughout the entire process.
第一次在美国租车，我全程一句英语都没说。

Because on that day, the person standing at the rental counter speaking English was not me, but my daughter.

At that time, my daughter was pursuing her graduate studies at Dartmouth College.
