With the largest volume and the smallest surface area, you encompass the four corners of the earth, shaking the world and stirring the universe. Yet, you are nothing more than a tiny ball beneath our feet, bringing us both profound sorrow and ultimate joy.

说实在的，我并非铁杆球迷，对足球的战术也谈不上多懂。但我愿意去感受足球的激情，享受那种在瞬间忘却一切烦恼的愉悦。我愿意欣赏那激烈的对抗，看那美丽而动人的阳刚之气尽情迸发。记得十三岁那年，我心血来潮，写了一首《小足球》的歌词，还自己配上了简谱。怀着一颗纯真好奇的童心，我厚着脸皮把稿件投给了《中国少年报》。那时的人做事极其认真，没过多久我就收到了回信。编辑先是对我这个不知天高地厚的少年表扬了一番，随后才告知稿件未被采用，且原稿不退。为此，我还偷偷掉了几滴眼泪。

To be honest, I am not a die-hard fan, nor do I claim to be an expert on football tactics. But I am willing to feel its passion and embrace the sheer joy of forgetting all my worries in an instant. I love watching the intense confrontations and the beautiful, moving eruption of masculine vigor. I remember when I was thirteen, on a sudden whim, I wrote lyrics for a song called "Little Football" and even composed a simple melody for it. With an innocent and curious heart, I brazenly submitted my draft to the China Youth Daily. People back then took their work very seriously. Before long, I received a reply. The editor first praised my youthful audacity, and then gently informed me that my submission was not accepted and that the original manuscript would not be returned. I shed a few tears over it.

It involves the ball's weight, speed, surface smoothness, and friction, as well as wind speed, wind direction, and turf conditions. It even includes the momentum, force, speed, and point of contact during the instantaneous collision between the ball and the player. For the players, individual fitness, skills, flexibility, mental resilience, and on-field vision are all indispensable. Especially when the ball is at your feet, you are both a vanguard charging into enemy lines and a commander strategizing from within. You must have the instinct to score, while seizing opportunities in motion to conquer the goal in a single strike. Millions will stay up all night to celebrate your triumph; otherwise, you return empty-handed, left with lifelong regrets.
