Revered for their dazzling, painterly colors, they have long been celebrated with the elegant title Rainbow Goddess. Their cultivation dates back to around 3000 BCE in ancient Egypt and India, while in China, iris planting began as early as the Song Dynasty.</p><p class="ql-block">Within the garden, more than 170 carefully cultivated iris varieties are on display, each with its own distinctive charm. The flower’s unique structure — formed by three delicate layers of standard petals, falls, and styles — reveals nature’s ingenuity, attracting bees for pollination and adding vitality to the scene. Among them are the vividly colored Louisiana irises, flaunting shades of blue, purple, yellow, orange, pink, and red; as well as the stately, full-formed German irises, exuding elegance and grace.</p><p class="ql-block">Every May and June, the irises reach their blooming peak. Countless blossoms unfold in succession, resembling flocks of colorful butterflies alighting upon green foliage.
