By systematically reviewing the scientific evolution from ancient Greek natural philosophy and modern atomic theory to contemporary particle physics standard models and superstring theory, this paper argues that with the revelation of quantum observation effects and string vibration theories, pure material realism can no longer adequately explain the nature of the universe. Building on this, the article systematically elucidates the core connotations of "Wang Xiaorong's Ideo-Materialism"—where mind is the spirit of matter, matter is the manifestation of mind, mind and matter share the same origin, and virtuality and reality coexist symbiotically. Furthermore, the paper integrates the latest scientific achievements of the Qingyang Metaverse Research Institute in the field of digital civilization, including the Quantum Narrative Generation System, "Zhuangzi Algorithm," blockchain digital property rights systems, and metaverse consciousness empirical platforms. Traditional materialism is built upon the cornerstones of atomic theory and classical mechanics, viewing matter as an objective entity independent of consciousness. However, the "observer effect" in quantum mechanics demonstrates that conscious participation alters the state of physical reality; superstring theory further reveals that the essence of the universe is the energy vibration of one-dimensional "strings," with so-called "particles" merely being manifestations of different vibrational modes.</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">Against this backdrop, the "Wang Xiaorong's Ideo-Materialism" proposed by the Qingyang Metaverse Research Institute attempts to transcend the binary opposition of idealism and materialism. This theory integrates Eastern wisdom of the Mind (Xin) School with Western scientific spirit, and combines it with the Institute's breakthrough achievements in computing networks, AI algorithms, and intangible cultural heritage digitization. However, modern physics since the 20th century has completely overturned this picture: the Particle Physics Standard Model discovered fundamental particles like quarks and leptons, yet they are not "hard balls" but probability clouds; superstring theory further predicts that at the Planck scale, all things are composed of vibrating strings.</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">This evolutionary trajectory clearly indicates that matter is not the ultimate reality but a condensed state of energy and laws.
