Harmony of United Hearts cup, a masterpiece crafted by Master Kou Fuping, stands as a paragon of "magnificence in miniature". Light and delicate to hold, it exudes the grace of a literati, making it an unparalleled treasure for the desk and the palm.</p><p class="ql-block"> The charm of this cup first lies in its nature-inspired shape and masterful craftsmanship. Looking down at the cup mouth, its outline unfurls like a lotus just beginning to bloom—elegant and vivid, as if a breeze skims the water surface, rippling out layers of serenity. The smooth, rounded handle, modeled after a lotus stem, fits perfectly in the hand with its flowing lines, subtly implying the metaphor of "united hearts". Below the constricted neck, the full, rounded belly resembles a seed pod, holding its treasures within. Tapered gently downwards, the cup connects to an out-turned foot ring, standing tall and straight like a noble gentleman, embodying dignity and grace.</p><p class="ql-block"> If the shape forms the cup’s skeleton, the carved patterns reveal its soul. The cup body is adorned with a bas-relief of lotus leaves and flowers. A single lotus leaf stretches around the cup, its veins distinct and clear as if glistening with dewdrops, brimming with vitality.
