11月24日我抵达西安。飞机在傍晚六点降落于西安咸阳国际机场，夜色已悄然笼罩。长期往返于东南沿海的我，这是第一次踏足中国的中西部。陌生的环境带来几分神秘与未知，也让我心中不免泛起一丝紧张。 On November 24, I arrived in Xi'an. The plane landed at Xi'an Xianyang International Airport at six in the evening, as night had already quietly fallen. Having long travelled back and forth along China southeastern coast, this was my first time setting foot in China's central and western regions. The unfamiliar surroundings carried a sense of mystery and the unknown, stirring a faint trace of nervousness within me. 机场离开市中心近50公里。 有城际铁路和机场巴士到市中心，之后到酒店还有一段路要走。携程在机场的门店有拼车到市区，还会送到酒店，比机场巴士仅多了10元。我买了拼车服务。车子很快就过来了。车上没有其他拼车的客人，司机直接把我送到酒店。<br><br>The airport is nearly 50 kilometres from the city centre. There are intercity trains and airport buses to downtown, but it still takes some distance to reach the hotel afterward. At the airport, Ctrip has a counter offering shared rides to the city, which also drop passengers off at their hotels, costing only 10 yuan more than the airport bus. I purchased the shared ride service. The car arrived quickly, and since there were no other passengers, the driver took me directly to the hotel.<br> 酒店坐落在钟楼附近的一条幽静小街上。推门而出，两旁小餐馆鳞次栉比，热闹的烟火气息与浓郁的陕西风情扑面而来。我走进了酒店旁的一家面馆，点了一碗臊子面和一个馍，就此拉开了西安之旅的序幕。 The hotel is located on a quiet street near the Bell Tower. Stepping outside, rows of small restaurants line both sides, their lively atmosphere and rich Shaanxi flavour immediately enveloping me. I walked into a noodle shop next to the hotel, ordered a bowl of Shaanxi Spicy Minced Meat Noodles and a bun, thus marking the beginning of my journey in Xi'an. 西安是中国国家中心城市之一，丝绸之路经济带、新亚欧大陆桥及黄河流域的重要城市。西安在中国历史上是第一个被称为“京”的城市，建都时间最久、先后有13个朝代在此建都。 <div><br></div><div>Xi'an is one of China's national central cities, an important hub along the Silk Road Economic Belt, the New Eurasian Land Bridge, and the Yellow River basin. The journey from the city centre covers nearly 50 kilometres and takes about an hour, with a guide providing commentary along the way. 肉红色的火晶柿子挂满枝头，在初冬明媚的阳光下，仿佛热情地迎接着远道而来的游客。‘柿’字与‘事’、‘世’、‘识’同音或近音，因此常被赋予事事如意、世世平安、识时务等吉祥寓意。导游介绍说，西安的柿子虽然个头不大，却皮薄汁甜，风味独特。这几天，我一定要亲口尝尝这份西安的地道滋味。 The branches were laden with crimson fire-crystal persimmons, which in the bright early-winter sunlight seemed to warmly welcome visitors from afar. The word ‘Shi’ (persimmon) shares the same or similar pronunciation with ‘shi’ meaning affairs, world, or knowledge, and thus is often endowed with auspicious meanings such as everything going smoothly, peace through generations, and wisdom in understanding the times. The guide explained that although Xi'an"s persimmons are not large in size, they have thin skins, sweet juice, and a distinctive flavor. After putting on the goggles and mounting virtual warhorses, we entered the digital world, shuttling between Pit No.1 and Pit No.2 of the Terracotta Army, where we got a close look at the "revived" terracotta figures of generals, kneeling archers, and cavalrymen. Following the tour, she escorted us to the Cultural Industry Centre within the Terracotta Army Museum. He would either take the group to watch The Song of Everlasting Sorrow or head straight back to the city center. The fee was only 9.9 yuan, and an official contract invoice from the travel agency was provided. In total, we were served by two guides and the salesladies, each working for different organizations, yet working seamlessly together. This well-organized, thoughtful service was truly impressive. Inside, it looked quite clean, though the restaurant's name felt rather exaggerated. This character has not been included in reference books such as the Modern Chinese Dictionary, but it is widely used in the restaurants and noodle shops here!<br> 下午我自己坐车来到华清宫。一座拥有3000多年历史的皇家温泉园林。华清宫以其秀美的自然景观、悠久的温泉文化和动人的历史传说而闻名。这里不仅是唐玄宗与杨贵妃爱情故事的见证地，也是“西安事变”这一重大历史事件的发生地。 In the afternoon, I took a ride by myself to Huaqing Palace, a royal hot spring garden with a history of more than 3,000 years. Huaqing Palace is renowned for its beautiful natural scenery, long-standing hot spring culture, and captivating historical legends. It is not only the site that witnessed the love story of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang and Lady Yang, but also the place where the significant historical event known as the 'Xi'an Incident' took place. 有一对青年人和我合聘了一个导游做讲解。导游对有关西安事变的故事讲得很多。这对青年人会等到晚上在这里看大型历史舞剧《长恨歌》。<br><br>Together with a young couple, we hired a guide who spoke at length about the Xi'an Incident. Later, the couple planned to stay until evening to watch the grand stage production of the historical dance drama The Song of Everlasting Sorrow.<br> 晚上的西安市中心是那么热闹，车水马龙人流不息。<div><br>At night, the city center of Xi'an is bustling with activity, with heavy traffic and a constant stream of people.<br></div> 第二天早上我来到西安城墙，它是中国保存最完整的古代城垣之一。它是封闭长方形的。走完一圈有13.7公里长，需要起码三四个小时。我从南边的永宁门进去，走了一小段就下来了。 The next morning, I went to the Xi'an City Wall, one of the best-preserved ancient fortifications in China. It is a closed rectangle, with a full circuit measuring 13.7 kilometers, which takes at least three to four hours to walk. I entered through Yongning Gate on the southern side, walked a short distance, and then came down. 西安碑林博物馆。是陕西最早创建的博物馆，有900多年历史。西安碑林于北宋元祐二年（1087年），为保藏唐《开成石经》《石台孝经》及颜真卿、柳宗元等人的书法名碑而兴建。崇宁二年（1103年）迁于现址。此后历经历代维修及增建，规模不断扩大，藏石日益增多，她最终建成一座以收藏、研究和陈列历代碑石、墓志及石刻造像为主的专题性艺术博物馆。 Xi'an Beilin Museum is the earliest established museum in Shaanxi, with a history of more than 900 years. It was founded in the second year of Yuan You (1087) during the Northern Song dynasty to preserve the Tang Kaicheng Stone Classics, the Shitai Classic of Filial Piety, and famous calligraphic steles by Yan Zhenqing, Liu Zongyuan, and others. In the second year of Chongning (1103), it was relocated to its present site. Through successive repairs and expansions, its scale continued to grow and its stone collections increased, eventually becoming a specialized art museum dedicated to the collection, research, and exhibition of steles, epitaphs, and stone sculptures from various dynasties. 这个博物馆的外貌很平常，里面的规模却相当大。是我看过最好的博物展览馆之一。<br><br>The exterior of this museum appears ordinary, yet inside it is remarkably large in scale. It is one of the finest museum exhibitions I have ever seen.<br> 晚餐在“许府牛小火锅”。<br><br>I had my dinner at 'Xu's Beef Mini Hotpot'.<br> 11月26日，央视三套晚间播出了《中国唱将》节目。在比赛中，周深演唱了自己创作的《家乡西安》。他的歌声让我联想到这两天亲眼所见的西安，心中产生了强烈的共鸣。<br><br>On November 26, CCTV-3 aired the evening program Chinese Singers. During the competition, Zhou Shen performed his own composition "Hometown Xi'an". His singing reminded me of the Xi'an I had witnessed over the past two days, stirring a deep resonance in my heart.<br>
