The correct address for this museum is 250 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012, United States, located only 440 meters from the pickup point.</p> <p class="ql-block">Regrettably, the Uber system erroneously directed the trip to 2500 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90007, United States, a location situated 4.5 kilometers away from the origin. (Supporting attachments are available).</p> <p class="ql-block"><b style="font-size:20px;">Financial Damages</b></p><p class="ql-block"> </p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">This mapping error resulted in two unnecessary trips and excessive charges:</p><p class="ql-block"> </p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">⭐️ The initial, incorrect trip cost US$18.18, significantly higher (＞40%) than the usual estimated cost of US$12.92 for the correct journey.</p> <p class="ql-block">⭐️ A second trip was necessitated from the incorrect drop-off point (2500 S Grand Ave) to the correct museum address (250 S Grand Ave), costing an additional US$21.11 (at 7:08 p.m.).</p> <p class="ql-block">The Uber maps present a confusing conflict regarding the destination, listing both <b>250</b> S Grand Ave and <b>2500</b> S Grand Ave as the address for The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. This discrepancy led directly to the misrouting described in this complaint. Because the Uber platform provided the wrong address, I was unjustly charged a total of US$39.29 (US$18.18 + US$21.11).</p> <p class="ql-block"><b style="font-size:20px;">Request for Resolution and Service Improvement</b></p><p class="ql-block"> </p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">The above outlines the core complaint. Beyond lodging a complaint and demanding a reasonable refund, my more important goal is to assist your organization in correcting these map errors. My intent is to help ensure the Uber maps become more complete and accurate, thereby better serving the public.
