<p class="ql-block">古诗：《绝句(其一)》</p><p class="ql-block">活动目标：</p><p class="ql-block">语言表达：引导幼儿观察画面， 结合诗词原文， 尝试用自己的语言表达诗词的意境，发展幼儿的语言理解及表达能力。 </p><p class="ql-block">识字积累：了解中国汉字象形文字的来历和意义，认识汉字“风”， 积累汉字的感性认知。 </p><p class="ql-block">趣味记忆： 结合配乐古诗新唱，在歌曲中体 会中国传统文化的魅力，增强诗词记忆的趣味 性。</p> <p class="ql-block">Dear Parents🌺, </p><p class="ql-block">This was our content for the week:</p><p class="ql-block">We moved on to SWE Unit 5, Week 2, "Fruits". </p><p class="ql-block">Vocabulary words: We learned/reviewed the following names of fruits; apple🍏, banana🍌, orange, lemon🍋, watermelon🍉, peach🍑 and strawberry🍓. </p><p class="ql-block">Speaking: The kids practiced answering the question, "Do you like watermelon...?" "Yes, I do." "I like watermelon." "No, I don't." "I don't like watermelon."</p><p class="ql-block">Phonics: We continued to learn about the letter "Tt", we reviewed the following words; tiger, toe, tortoise🐢, toucan and tail. The kids also practiced writing the letter.</p><p class="ql-block">Reading📖: We re-read the book titled, "What Has A Tail?". The kids also did well to answer the question in relation to other animals, "Does a monkey have a tail?" Does a mouse have a tail?" </p><p class="ql-block">Topic lesson: We continued to learn about France! We reviewed the words; France, Eiffel Tower🗼, macarons and flag. The kids practiced saying the following words related to a French Bakery; bakery, croissant🥐 and baguette🥖. The kids also decorated a plate with pictures of these delicious treats. </p><p class="ql-block">Homework🏠: Please encourage your child to practice reading the book, "What Has A Tail?". Kindly send through a video of them reading.</p><p class="ql-block">SWE Assessment Preparation: Kindly note that the kids will be assessed on the content from SWE Level One, Term 1, Unit 1-5.Our Classroom, Our Things, Colors, Shapes and Fruit, in the upcoming English assessment. The assessment will take place in the last week of November. Please use this time to review the content with your child. </p><p class="ql-block">Have a great weekend!
