in</p><p class="ql-block">Jiangsu Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He</p><p class="ql-block">graduated from the Correspondence University of Chinese Literature and</p><p class="ql-block">is currently a member of the Shanghai Writers Association, a member of</p><p class="ql-block">the Shanghai Dramatists Association, and a researcher at the Chinese</p><p class="ql-block">Poetry Culture Research Institute.</p><p class="ql-block">Growing up poor, he never attended school but developed a passion</p><p class="ql-block">for literature and theater through self-taught dedication. At thirty-seven,</p><p class="ql-block">he began writing literary and theatrical works, though he didn't publish a</p><p class="ql-block">single piece for ten years. Undeterred, he persisted on his own path,</p><p class="ql-block">firmly believing that "where there's a will, there's a way"</p><p class="ql-block">– a conviction</p><p class="ql-block">forged through the rhythmic pounding of his hammers.</p><p class="ql-block">After the publication of his essay collection "Qingfeng"</p><p class="ql-block">, Shanghai</p><p class="ql-block">Radio aired a half-hour special program titled "Shi Rongdong and His</p><p class="ql-block">Essays"</p><p class="ql-block">.
