A total of 18 candidates, including those standing for different Howick subdivisions, Auckland Council, and the Auckland mayoralty, attended the forum to engage directly with the Chinese community. 论坛由姚冬蕾会长主持，江锡安会长与戴在和会长担任翻译。开场环节特别强调了会场的安全与秩序，并介绍了四个主办协会的会长。随后，候选人们依次登台，每人有三加一分钟时间陈述施政理念并回答问题，涵盖交通、社区建设、公共服务等民生议题。现场提问环节气氛热烈，展现出选民的积极参与。<br>The forum was chaired by President Lily Yao, with President Steven Jiang and President Daisy Dai serving as interpreters. The opening session emphasized venue safety and order, followed by the introduction of the four organizing associations’ presidents. Each candidate was then invited to speak for three minutes, presenting their policy visions and one minute for answering questions on key issues such as transport, community development, and public services.
