Then we learned about the beginning, middle, and end of a story before writing about a memory using that same structure. Finally, we ended the week by making a personal dictionary composed of 5 hard words they struggled writing.

2nd-3rd Grade (afternoon group)

We have been learning full sentences, learning about run-ons and fragments, and have been correcting them. Students also practiced rewriting an engaging intro for "boring" prompts. Finally, they put their skills to the test by writing the first scene of their own short stories.

💦 Friday Fun: Mazes & Water Play

The week wrapped up with an indoor maze challenge and a refreshing afternoon at the water park—perfect for cooling off and celebrating their hard work!
Maze
Swimming Pool
Volunteers
📸 Memories to Cherish

We’ve captured their smiles and achievements in photos and videos, including their storytelling.
