Sultry Fettered Summer

I ponder upon that jubilant sun,
The prodigy of rays shall cast some fun,
Those wagtail birds in pursuit of the nest,
Willows and oaks dispense with verdant chest,
No more meadows, behold that vanguard;
Of swarmed flamingos flocked towards boulevard,
And, the crumb of me melted out of implosion,
To mingle with phoebus Apollo foray explosion,
That oceanic whims of joy, seem vainly conquer,
Those fragments of distorted seashores and stronghold muster,
Be resorts of human relief—a canopy of trance,
Let alone daffodils be ravenous for yore dance,
Vie that simulacrum of summer!!
The beholder call it a bummer!
The scorching blaze of hearts overwhelm,
The sizzling grudge of Earth realm,
All walked along that weeping maze,
And I kept sweating to flee from haze.

《被闷热束缚的夏天》（埃及，拜东）

我沉思着那欢腾的太阳，
光芒的奇迹将带来一些乐趣，
那些鹡鸰鸟寻觅着巢穴，
柳树和橡树放弃了翠绿的胸膛，
不再有草地，看那先头部队；
成群的火烈鸟涌向林荫大道，
而我的残骸因内爆而融化，
为了与阿波罗的突袭的烈焰交融，
那海洋般狂喜的奇想，似乎徒劳无功，
那些扭曲的海岸和堡垒的碎片集结，
成为人类解脱的胜地——一片迷幻的华盖，
更不用说水仙花对昔日舞蹈的怀恋，
竞逐着夏日的幻影！
旁观者称之为扫兴！
心中的焦灼席卷而来，
大地的怨恨嘶嘶作响，
众人穿行于泣泪的迷宫，
而我汗流浃背，试图从这一片迷障中逃离。




作者简介：来自埃及北部达米埃塔的艾哈迈德・F・拜东（Ahmed F. Baidoon）生于1981年，他的故乡位于地中海与尼罗河交汇处。他热爱自然，除了精通意大利语、西班牙语和法语外，对母语阿拉伯语和英语更是满怀热忱。

他的阿拉伯语文学作品包括：短篇小说集《人不过是……？》《浸染自我韵味的言行举止》《想象的祭坛》；阿拉伯语十四行诗集《给我些喘息空间》及三部长篇小说。
