💡 个人感悟

• 对中国历史稍有了解的人都会知道，“天命”只是古代政权更替的一种政治语言。但美国一些精英却将它当作实际信仰，甚至据此来评估中国政权的“正当性”。这让我感到，一旦文化理解偏差被政治力量放大，便可能酿成一系列战略灾难。

The “Mandate of Heaven” is a symbolic tool in Chinese history, but it was mistakenly taken literally by many American leaders. When cultural misunderstanding becomes the foundation of strategy, missteps become inevitable.

• 读完这一章，我更加敬畏“理解的复杂性”。理解一个国家，不只是看它说了什么，更要理解它“为什么这么说”。而真正的理解，是建立在尊重和深入交流之上的，而不是幻想与投射。

To understand a nation, it’s not enough to hear what it says—you must understand why it says it. Respect, not projection, is the foundation of true insight.
