<p class="ql-block">Dear parents，</p><p class="ql-block">This week, we explored biological evolution and traveled back to the Jurassic period, where we met various dinosaur friends such as the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, and Pterodactyl. We also investigated dinosaur diets and body sizes. At the dinosaur museum, we glimpsed the process of Earth's biological evolution through fossils, and under the microscope, we observed the clearly visible insect wings trapped in amber. We even got to touch trilobite and ammonite fossils with our own hands and excavated "dinosaur fossils" ourselves! </p><p class="ql-block">May 31st is the Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month each year. It is a grand traditional celebration that combines worshiping deities and ancestors, praying for blessings and warding off evil, festive entertainment, and culinary delights. The children made red date zongzi using indocalamus leaves, glutinous rice, and red dates.
