<p class="ql-block">2025年5月25日中午，我的爱生郭帅，来自北京工作的他，和北京优秀的女孩石千惠携手步入婚姻殿堂。作为见证者，我在婚礼现场被幸福与感动紧紧包围。看着他身着笔挺西装，帅气又沉稳的模样，我心中满是骄傲——这就是“别人家的孩子”，优秀得让众人艳羡。</p><p class="ql-block">At noon on May 25, 2025, my beloved student, Guo Shuai, who works in Beijing, and Shi Qianhui, an outstanding girl from Beijing, joined hands and stepped into the marriage hall. As a witness, I was tightly surrounded by happiness and emotion at the wedding scene. Looking at him in a neat and straight suit, handsome and composed, I was filled with pride in my heart—this is exactly the "别人家的孩子 (children from other families, the kind that make others envious)", so excellent that everyone envies him.</p> <p class="ql-block">他的父母同样出色，父亲郭佩林老师是中央音乐学院“校外人民音乐家”；母亲赵春花是光影、构图与情感完美拿捏的摄影师，美丽而慈祥。在这样优秀父母的培养下，两个孩子先后考入哈佛大学攻读研究生，各自在海外求学时遇见真爱，如今都收获美满爱情。</p><p class="ql-block">His parents are equally outstanding. His father, Teacher Guo Peilin, is an "Out-of-school People's Musician" at the Central Conservatory of Music. His mother, Zhao Chunhua, is a photographer who perfectly masters the play of light and shadow, composition, and emotion. She is beautiful and kind-hearted. Under the cultivation of such excellent parents, the two children were successively admitted to Harvard University for postgraduate studies. These children have long become precious presences in my life.</p> <p class="ql-block">记得孩子是初中时加入我们团队，在2004年全国斯诺比英语口语大赛山西赛区阳泉选拔赛中，一举拿下初中组第一名。那时的他，勤奋刻苦、听话懂事，身上散发着无限潜力，认定目标便咬牙坚持。这份毅力，也为他日后的成功奠定了基础。</p><p class="ql-block">I remember when he joined our team in junior high school. In 2004, he won first place in the Yangquan Qualifying Competition of the Shanxi Division of the National Snobby English Speaking Contest. Back then, he was diligent, obedient, and full of potential, persevering through challenges—a quality that paved the way for his future success.</p> <p class="ql-block">当婚礼现场的音乐响起，新郎新娘携手走上T台的那一刻，我再也控制不住眼眶中的泪水。那是幸福的泪水，是看着孩子成家立业的欣慰与感动。“一日为师，终身为父”，多年的师生情谊在此刻化作无尽的温情。那些共同学习、奋斗的岁月，早已在我心中留下深深的烙印，而我对每一位学生的关爱，也从未改变。</p><p class="ql-block">As the wedding music played and the bride and groom walked down the aisle, I couldn't hold back my tears—tears of joy and pride at seeing him start a new chapter. The saying “Once a teacher, forever a father” truly resonates; years of mentorship have blossomed into profound affection. The memories of our shared learning journey are etched deeply in my heart, and my love for each student remains unwavering.</p> <p class="ql-block">衷心祝福这对新人，愿他们在未来的人生路上，携手同行，共享岁月静好，书写属于他们的幸福篇章。后续，我还想整理出那些承载着回忆的老照片，与大家分享这些孩子成长路上的点点滴滴。</p><p class="ql-block">With all my heart, I wish this newlywed couple a lifetime of happiness. He is Guo Shuai’s elder brother and a key figure who guided his younger brother towards Harvard University. Nine years ago, at the very same wedding venue as today's, Guo Xin and Ms. Ding, his Harvard alumnus also from Beijing, walked hand in hand into the wedding hall and became an enviable couple.</span></p> <p class="ql-block">在我们早年的团队中，郭欣始终展现出令人赞叹的特质：高度自立、极度自律，各方面表现堪称卓越。高中时期，他曾饱含激情地演绎马丁·路德·金那篇经典的《我有一个梦想》演讲，发音标准、情感充沛，极具感染力。不仅如此，在阳泉市首届英语口语大赛中，他凭借扎实的语言功底与出色的临场发挥，一举斩获佳绩。</p><p class="ql-block">During his time in our early team, Guo Xin consistently demonstrated remarkable qualities: great self - reliance, extreme self - discipline, and outstanding performance in all aspects. In high school, he passionately delivered a powerful rendition of Martin Luther King Jr.’s iconic speech I Have a Dream, with clear pronunciation, abundant emotion, and strong appeal. Moreover, in the first Yangquan City English Speech Contest, he won an award with his solid language skills and excellent on - the - spot performance.</p> <p class="ql-block">郭欣身边这位同学是郭欣亲戚家的孩子，早年也是我们的团队成员，也非常优秀，在我刚走进婚礼现场时，就认出了我。虽然我一时没能叫出孩子名字，但对他的面孔十分熟悉。看着这些孩子们长大成人，我满心都是欣慰与喜悦。</p><p class="ql-block">The classmate beside Guo Xin is a child from Guo Xin's relative's family. He was also a member of our team in the early years and is extremely outstanding. He recognized me as soon as I walked into the wedding venue. Although I couldn't call out his name immediately, I was very familiar with his face. Looking back, the years we spent growing together seem like just yesterday, making one sigh at the rapid passage of time.</p> <p class="ql-block">2014年4月19日晚，正在北京一所大学上大三的郭帅，突然出现在阳泉图书馆旁边的公路局办公楼前，他想回来看望老师和同学们。当时是我们户外课堂的现场，学弟学妹们好不容易见到这位学长，于是我把接下来的课留给郭帅，让他来分享自己英语学习一路走来的心得和体会，同时给学弟学妹们上了一堂独到而精彩的答疑解惑课。我随即拍照留下了难忘的回忆……</p><p class="ql-block">On the evening of April 19, 2014, Guo Shuai, who was in his junior year at a university in Beijing, suddenly appeared in front of the office building of the Highway Bureau beside Yangquan Library. He wanted to come back and visit his teachers and classmates. At that time, it was the site of our outdoor class. The younger schoolmates rarely got the chance to meet this senior, so I left the rest of the class to Guo Shuai, allowing him to share his experiences and insights gained along the way in English learning. At the same time, he gave a unique and wonderful class to answer the questions and clear up the doubts of the younger schoolmates. If I get the chance, I will share with you the growth story behind this outstanding child...</p> <p class="ql-block">上面这张照片里向郭帅咨询请教的女同学就是张栗之。当时她上高一，在班级里是个十分出众的学生。她的父母都是老师，良好的家庭氛围为她的成长奠定了基础。学习上，她态度认真，坚持出勤，英语口语尤为突出，是班级里的标杆型学员。大学毕业以后，她曾在《南方日报》工作过一段时间，如今，她在深圳的一家企业工作，因工作需要频繁出国，足迹遍布几十个国家。扎实的英语功底让她在国际交流中游刃有余，不仅助力工作，也为企业发展贡献了力量。</p><p class="ql-block">The female classmate who was consulting Guo Shuai in the photo above is Zhang Lizhi. She was in the first year of high school at that time and was an outstanding student in the class. Both of her parents are teachers, and the excellent family atmosphere has laid a solid foundation for her growth. She studied earnestly, never missed a class, and her oral English was particularly outstanding, making her a role - model student in the class. After graduating from university, she once worked for <b>Nanfang Daily</b> for a while. Now, she works for an enterprise in Shenzhen and travels abroad frequently for work, having visited dozens of countries. Her solid English skills enable her to communicate with ease in international exchanges, which not only helps with her work but also contributes significantly to the development of her company.</p> <p class="ql-block">真是三句话不离本行！原本是来参加郭帅的婚礼，可这一瞬间，许多学生的身影在我脑海中浮现。因时间有限，无法将每个孩子的故事一一诉说。那就以郭帅这场婚礼为寄托，承载我对所有学子的殷切期盼——愿他们在学业与事业上一帆风顺，未来生活幸福美满。</p><p class="ql-block">True to my nature, I can't help but talk about my students!
