　　21世纪头年的英文月刊《英语世界(The World of English )第8期，曾刊登过薛 范先生译配的<To Be Number One>（《意大利之夏>）这首英文歌曲。欣赏完英文歌词，再阅读中文译词，发现译文与英文之意全然不同。浏览歌曲后面的注解，才知译者的译词是根据意大利原文译出的，不是英文歌词的翻译。因此，月刊登载的作品成了英文歌词、意文词意，非牛非马、不伦不类的四不像。英文歌词的第二段与美篇背景音乐中演唱的歌词也不一致，而且，歌词中还存在三处拼写和用词错误:

"choose"误为"chosse"

"winning"误为"wining"

"like the wind"误为"like the wing"
