My home 🏠

I have been living in my Leumeah home since 2010. When the real estate agent first showed me this house, I loved it right away. It’s located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on Bungonia Road, nestled between Campbelltown and Minto, and it takes just 13 minutes to walk to Leumeah station.

From my windows, I can see the bush reserve, and when it rains, I can hear the water running from the creek in front of the house. The only sounds I hear are those of the Kakadu and Kookaburra.

Before sunrise, after sunset, and just before it rains, the kookaburra makes a loud call, sounding like laughter, announcing that a new day is about to kick off or signaling it’s time to call it a day. It’s like a natural weather forecast that rain is on the way.

I have a stunning, north-facing backyard that is sunny year-round. There’s a small barbecue stove set in the corner, a tool shed, and a double garage next to the backyard. I’ve planted flowers and vegetables for all seasons, and the area is lush with a lemon tree 🌲 , a mandarin tree 🌳 and a pomegranate 🌴 , a pine tree 🌲 in front of the house.

I enjoy walking through the patio from the backyard to the bay window door, which leads into the dining area and kitchen. These spaces are openly linked together, along with a lounge room and three reasonably sized bedrooms, one bathroom, and a separate toilet.

Cooking in this house brings me joy, and the delightful scents linger throughout. Plus, my Korean friends have gifted me some beautiful perfumes that add to the atmosphere. The house was renovated in 2019, so it looks clean and fresh, despite being over 40 years old. That’s my little house, and I love it.🥰

Kookaburra

cul de sac ~ A street with only one way in or out 只有一条出入口的街道

The small forest outside the house
