去掉“Doing... is/can ...”的“汉味”

还有80天高考，学生的作文大体走出了“语言错误”的关卡，随之而来的是语言得体性的问题。简单说，对是对了，读着别扭。

一个比较突出的问题，学生喜欢用“Doing ... is / can...”结构。如以下例子（引句中其他的语言错误已修改；其他与doing相关的错误，暂不讨论）。

文中出现了：

1. Calling students to protect their campus and to regard campus as their second home is the first choice of building a happy campus.
2. Purchasing some rubbish bins and placing them in the campus is also a good chioce.
3. Rasing an awareness of helping each other would affect students to have...

文中出现了：

Maintaining a more active mannaer also plays a  part. 

文中出现了：

1. Building a Happy Campus requires everyone's participiation and creativity.
2. Establishing mental health corner will undoubtedly have a positive impact on our mental health.

文中出现：

Expanding the categories of the dishes is an eager expectation.

文中出现：

Planting a bunch of trees and flowers enables us to taste the fresh air and enjoy the shadow of plants.

文中出现：

Planning to make it as a job in advance is also a good choice.

文中出现：

1. Having a tidy surroundings is essential.
2. Organizing a large-scale cleaning and planting some flowers can boost its happiness.
3. Founding some activities can make the school alive.

用动名词doing做主语，是正常的，但是一篇文章中多次出现，就显得单调了，也反映了汉语表达方式的影响。

比如我上文的这句话“用动名词doing做主语，是正常的”，汉语听起来没问题，但是按汉语语序翻译成“Using doing as subject is normal”就很尴尬了。

一般两种改法：

1. 去掉句首的doing。如：

     1) A tidy surroundings is essential.

     2) A large-scale cleaning and some flowers can boost its happiness.

     3) Some activities can make the school alive.

2.转化为It is...to do的形式。如：

     1）It is common to use "doing" as subject.

     2) It is also a good choice to make it as a job in advance.

   3) It is an eager expectation to expand the categories of the dishes.

当然，修改的方法不唯一，不同的语境、语义，会有不同的处理方法。

当下，要让学生认识到这个问题，尽量减少同类表达，使语言更加丰富多样。
