贵港市，广西壮族自治区辖地级市。是一座具有两千多年历史的古郡新城。2023年，国内旅游人数4306.73万人次，相比往年的统计人数大幅增长63.6％。境外游客仅为800人。很可能我是2025年到贵港旅游的第一位境外游客了。<div><br>Guigang is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is an ancient county with a history of more than 2,000 years. In 2023, the number of domestic tourists reached 43,067,300, a significant increase of 63.6% compared with the statistics of previous years. There were only 800 foreign tourists. It is very likely that I am the first foreign tourist to visit Guigang in 2025.<br></div> 1月16日我从贵港乘客车到金田镇，再转坐摩托车到金田起义博物馆，全程要3个多小时。在客车上几个当地的乘客，当得知我去金田旅游，热情地推荐我去他们的大鹏镇，说那里也特别美丽。还建议我应该从贵港乘动车到桂平镇，再转乘巴士去金田， 这样会快很多。我的确是在为贵港和金田镇之间要花费大半天时间的不方便而纠结。<br><br>On January 16, I took a bus from Guigang to Jintian Town and then rode a motorcycle to the Jintian Uprising Museum. The entire journey took over three hours. When other passengers on the bus found out I was visiting Jintian for tourism, they enthusiastically recommended I visit their hometown, Dapeng Town, describing it as a beautiful place. They also suggested I take the high-speed train from Guigang to Guiping first and then transfer to a bus to Jintian, which would be much faster. I was genuinely struggling with the inconvenience of spending most of the day traveling back and forth between Guigang and Jintian Town.<br> 金田起义博物馆从外形看就像是一本史书，等着人们去翻开页面，去重温那段太平天国金田起义的风云历史。<br><br>From its exterior, the Jintian Uprising Museum resembles a history book, waiting for people to open its pages and revisit the dramatic history of the Taiping Rebellion's Jintian Uprising.<br> 听了昨天乘客的提议，1月17日我搭乘动车来到了桂平镇，到桂平西山风景名胜区旅游。 国内高铁网发展迅速，贵港到桂平镇每10分钟就有一班车，19分钟就到了桂平，感觉坐动车就像是坐巴士。<br><br>Following the suggestion from the local passengers yesterday, I took the train to Guiping Town on the 17th to visit the Guiping Xishan Scenic Area. China boasts a well-developed and highly efficient high-speed rail network. Trains from Guigang to GuipingTown run every 10 minutes, and it took only 19 minutes to reach Guiping, making the journey as convenient as taking a city bus.<br> 西山风景名胜区离开桂平镇仅一公里，还有巴士到达。整个景区坐落在西山上。今天景区里几乎没有游客。缆车等到有客人才启动运转。我坐缆车先上山顶，从山顶走下来一路观赏景点。 The Xishan(West Mountain) Scenic Area is only one kilometer away from Guiping Town and there are buses to get there. The entire scenic area occupies the Xishan mountain. There were almost no tourists in the scenic area today. The cable cars were idling. I took the cable car to the top of the mountain first, and then walked down to admire the scenic spots along the way.<br> 西山以“林秀、石奇、泉甘、茶香”闻名于世。同时，西山作为佛教圣地和广西佛教协会所在地。<br><br>Xishan is famous for its beautiful forests, unique rocks, sweet springs, and fragrant tea. Meanwhile, Xishan serves as a Buddhist holy site and the location of the Guangxi Buddhist Association.<br> 从景区出来走到桂平镇上，已经是过了下午二点钟。<br><br>It was already past two o'clock in the afternoon when I walked out of the scenic area and arrived at Guiping Town.<br> 我路过桂平乳泉井的柳钢酒店时，走了进去。虽然已经过了午餐时间，我还是抱着试试看的心态询问服务台是否还能用餐。令人惊喜的是，他们特意为我准备了一份单人客饭，而且菜品竟然是我喜欢的！于是，我独自坐在宽敞的餐厅里，悠闲地享用了一顿美味的午餐。<br><br>As I passed by the Liugang Hotel near Guiping's Ruquan Well, I decided to step inside. Even though it was past lunchtime, I asked the front desk if they could still serve me a meal. To my surprise, they specially prepared a set meal for me, and the dishes turned out to be my favourites! Sitting alone in the spacious restaurant, I leisurely enjoyed a delicious lunch.<br>
