With the goal of being spontaneous, we decided to go on a spontaneous RV trip. As usual, it rained on our departure day (it almost always rains on my trips), but that didn't stop us from driving. We stopped and drove along, exploring the area. By the time we reached the Great Ocean Road, the weather had completely improved, making it the perfect time to enjoy the scenery. My mood, like the ocean, began to flow.

Due to poor time management, by the time they reached the Twelve Apostles, it was already dark and the cold wind was making people shiver. They couldn't help but run back immediately. However, an unexpected surprise occurred. A red band appeared on the sea level. It turned out that the sunset had occurred. They hurriedly stopped and ran towards the beach again. It was a pity that the last and most beautiful moment of the sunset was blocked by clouds, leaving them with regrets.

After sunset, it was already dark, and it was impossible to get to the reserved campsite. We had to follow the route to find a campsite. When we found one, it was closed and no one was allowed to enter. We had no choice but to spend the night at the campground entrance. The next morning, we found a nice park nearby. It was very large and had a complete range of recreational facilities. There was also a barbecue spot that was clearly visible. So we stayed and had breakfast here with the seagulls, enjoying a leisurely time.

After a quick Google search, I discovered a scenic spot called Cape Point near Warrnambool, so I immediately drove there. As soon as I got out of the car and walked to the beach, I couldn't help but exclaim: "It's so beautiful!" I spent a long time at the Cape before reluctantly driving south.

Arriving in South Australia, we arrived at Mount Gambier and quickly headed to camp for a short rest and refueling. Mount Gambier is a city built on an extinct volcano. Although home to just over 20,000 people, it's South Australia's second-largest city. This small city boasts a rich natural landscape, most notably its mountain passes, lakes, and caves, with the Blue Lake being the most distinctive.

Mount Gambier boasts three lakes: Blue Lake, Rim Lake, and a dried-up lake. Located below the crater of Mount Gambier, Blue Lake is reputed to be the bluest lake in the world. Its crystal-clear waters are the primary source of drinking water for the local town. Every November, as summer arrives, the lake's waters subtly transform from a hazy gray to a bold deep blue, remaining so until March of the following year. From above, the Blue Lake resembles a giant, shimmering sapphire, dazzling and captivating.

After admiring the Blue Lake, head to the Umpherston Sinkhole Garden. James Umpherston beautified the sinkhole in 1886, earning it its name. This place is a dreamlike secret garden, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flowers, offering a perfect blend of mystery and beauty.

A unique feature of this sinkhole garden is a large open sky above the cavern, allowing sunlight to filter through, lending the entire cavern a mysterious and warm atmosphere. A path with extensive information about the garden is followed by a few steps leading to its center. An asphalt slope surrounds the top, with ivy draping down the walls like curtains. Ferns and palm trees are just two of the various greenery options. There's also an artificial water feature flowing along one wall. At dusk, creatures like the Possum emerge to forage, making the garden even more lively and vibrant as the evening progresses.

The greatest benefit of RV travel is spontaneity and freedom. To fulfill my dream of watching the sunrise, I camped by the sea for a day. I couldn't quite discern the sunrise's direction, but after parking the car, I was pleasantly surprised by the seaside nightscape. The starry sky twinkled, reflecting off the shimmering sea, completely captivating me. That night, rocked by the lullaby of the waves, I slept soundly. It was the first time in my life, and likely the last.

The weather forecast called for sunrise at 6:00 AM. I woke up naturally at 5:30 AM, opened the curtains, and wow! Our car was parked in a perfect spot; I could watch the sunrise from my bed. The sky was already tinged with red as the sun slowly rose above the sea. The skyline grew brighter, its golden glow dispelling the shadows of the night. The clouds on the horizon were dyed a golden red, and the golden light danced on the water, shimmering and beautiful. As the sun was about to rise, due to atmospheric refraction, it seemed to be glued to the sea level, then suddenly "bounced" out of the water. At that moment, you felt like you were brand new, filled with energy.

This journey took me to the seaside and the embrace of nature. Every moment was filled with tranquility and surprises. From sunrise to sunset, from the beach to the mountains, nature showed its endless charm in its purest way, bringing us hope, vitality and vitality.
