<p class="ql-block"> 本学期是第二个接触毛老师视听说课的第二个学期，上学期的课程于我而言是一种机会，一种能接触到更高层次英语学习的机会，毛老师的教学理念“授人以鱼不如授人以渔”深深地打动了我们每一个人；这学期的视听说课则更像是一种挑战，适当的压力给予我前进的动力和契机。与传统的视听说课不同，这学期的每一节课都像是坐在托福、雅思考场，抑或是新闻发布会现场，让我们身临其境地学习、进步。（附课堂笔记一张）</p><p class="ql-block">This semester is the second semester that I have been exposed to Professor Mao's audio-visual and oral classes. For me, the courses from last semester were an opportunity, an opportunity to learn higher-level English. Professor Mao's teaching philosophy of "teaching people to fish is not as good as teaching them to fish" deeply moved each and every one of us; This semester's audio-visual and oral classes are more like a challenge, with appropriate pressure giving me motivation and opportunities to move forward. Unlike traditional audiovisual and oral classes, every class this semester feels like sitting in a TOEFL or IELTS exam room, or at a press conference, allowing us to learn and progress firsthand. (Attached is a classroom note)</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block"> 其中，最让我感觉对英语学习意义深远的是视译。由于在视译过程中，我们需要基于 “顺句驱动”的原则，根据自己的视幅断句，边看原稿边进行传译，所以对我们的反应力以及词汇量都有着极大的考验。不同于口译，在有原稿的情况下，视译的语言相对会更加书面化，同时更加能够锻炼译员的双语互译技巧，积累词汇表达及背景知识。也因此，视译对英语学习的帮助是多方面的。首先，由于视译既具备笔译的书面化特点，又具备口译的即时性特点，他对我们的英语学习起到了一种桥梁的作用，既能提高我们的听力理解能力，又能增强我们的口语表达能力。在不断的视译训练过程中，同时处理视觉和听觉信息的能力大大提高，我们也能够更加准确地捕捉到英语中语音、语调、语速等细节。</p><p class="ql-block">Among them, what makes me feel most profound about English learning is visual translation. Due to the principle of "sentence order driven" in the process of visual translation, we need to break sentences according to our own visual range and interpret while reading the original manuscript, which greatly tests our responsiveness and vocabulary. Unlike interpretation, in the presence of original manuscripts, visual translation language is relatively more written and can better exercise the translator's bilingual translation skills, accumulate vocabulary expression and background knowledge. Therefore, the assistance of visual translation in English learning is multifaceted. Firstly, due to the written nature of visual translation and the real-time nature of interpretation, it serves as a bridge for our English learning, improving both our listening comprehension and oral expression abilities.
