各位游客大家好，我是来自偃师区实验小学六四班的李崇赫。今天我们来到了真实玄奘的故里，也是《西游记》中假玄奘的灵感来源地。它位于河南省洛阳市偃师区南部缑氏镇陈河村，北依景山，南傍秀水。

Dear tourists, hello everyone. I'm Li Chonghe from Class 4 Grade 6 of Shiyan Primary School in Yanshi District. Today, we will visit the birthplace of the real-life Xuanzang, the inspiration for the fake Tang Monk in Journey to the West. It's located in Chenhe Village, Goushi Town, southern Yanshi District, Luoyang City, Henan Province, at the foot of Jingshan Mountain and by the side of Xiushui River.

这里每走一步，都仿佛走进了历史深处。这儿不仅是一处风景名胜，更是一本精彩的故事书。

Every step we take here seems to take us deeper into history. This is not only a scenic spot, but also a wonderful storybook.

玄奘故居始建于北齐年间，坐北朝南，占地20余亩。千百年来，陈家后人多次对故居进行修葺。1992年4月故居得以修复并对游人开放。

The former residence of Xuanzang was first built during the Northern Qi Dynasty, facing south and covering an area of over 20 mu. Over the past thousand years, it has undergone numerous repairs by descendants of the Chen family. In April 1992, it was restored and opened to the public.

玄奘，俗姓陈名祎，602年生于官僚之家，书香门第。13岁出家，法名玄奘，被尊称为三藏法师。他是唐代著名的高僧，世界著名的旅行家、翻译家、哲学家、佛学家、外交家，是中外文化、交通交流的杰出使者。

Xuanzang, whose secular name was Chen Yi, was born in 602 AD into a family of officials and scholars. At the age of thirteen, he became a monk and adopted the Dharma name Xuanzang, also known as Tripitaka Master. He was a renowned monk in the Tang Dynasty, a world-famous traveler, translator, philosopher, Buddhist scholar, and diplomat. He was a prominent envoy for cultural and transportation exchanges between China and foreign countries.

据史料记载，公元7世纪，玄奘在极其艰难的情况下踏上了西行求取佛法真谛的征程。他孤身一人，毫无畏惧，穿越沙漠，攀登雪山，挑战生命的极限。他凭借坚定的信仰，历经艰险，跋涉千里，抵达了遥远的印度佛教圣地。在那里，他开始了长达十七年的传奇之旅，学习、游历、传经。在旅途中，他走过了百余个国家，行程五万余里。回到唐朝后，他带回了六百七十五部佛经，倾尽毕生心血和智慧进行翻译。

According to historical records, in the 7th century, Xuanzang embarked on a westward journey to seek the true essence of Buddhism under extremely difficult conditions. Alone and undeterred, he crossed deserts, scaled snow-capped mountains, and pushed the limits of life. With unwavering faith, he survived numerous dangers and arrived in the Buddhist kingdom of India, thousands of miles away. There, he embarked on a legendary journey of seventeen years, studying, traveling, and preaching. During his travels, he passed through over a hundred countries, covering a distance of fifty thousand miles. Upon his return to the Tang Dynasty, he brought back 675 Buddhist scriptures. He dedicated all his efforts and wisdom to the translation of these scriptures.

现在我们站在玄奘故居的前院，前院有东厢房和西厢房，后面是大唐禅院。东厢房是玄奘儿时读书的地方，西厢房主要展示了玄奘十七岁独自赴印度取经的动人故事以及他十九年翻译的大量经卷。

Now we are standing in the front yard, which features the east wing and west wing, as well as the Cien Tang Hall behind us. The east wing was where Xuanzang studied as a child, while the west wing mainly displays the moving story of his seventeen-year solo journey to India and the voluminous scriptures he translated over nineteen years.

现在，我们看到的这口古井。这是玄奘的祖父陈康所挖，井水清澈甘甜。玄奘喝着这井水长大，所以这口井被称为慧泉。传说喝了这井水可以治病，因而又被称为“圣水”。请大家随意品尝。

Now, we can see an ancient well. It was dug by Xuanzang's grandfather, Chen Kang. The water in the well is clear and sweet. Xuanzang grew up drinking this water, so the well is known as Huiquan. It is believed that drinking the water can cure many illnesses, earning it the nickname "sacred water." Please, feel free to taste it.

玄奘故居这片圣地，不仅见证了他求取真经的艰辛与智慧，还承载着中华民族深厚的文化底蕴。愿我们都学习他这种坚韧不拔和勇于探索的精神，为国家的繁荣富强贡献自己的力量。

This sacred land of Xuanzang's former residence not only witnessed the hardships and wisdom of his quest for the true scriptures, but also carries the profound cultural heritage of the Chinese nation. Let us all emulate his perseverance and spirit of exploration, contributing our own strength to the prosperity and strength of our country.
