As an educator, I often navigate the evolving landscape of teaching environments and the swift advancements in educational technology. With the digital era upon us, the emergence of educational platforms has significantly impacted our pedagogical efforts. On February 16, 2024, OpenAI unveiled its text-to-video platform, Sora. As a groundbreaking digital education platform, Sora offers educators an extensive and deep reservoir of educational resources, including eBooks, online courses, and multimedia materials. The introduction of this tool has ushered in a transformative shift in the educational domain, especially for research and teaching staff. It serves not just as a repository of resources but as a catalyst for pedagogical change. This shift has not only redefined my understanding of education but also presented new challenges in my teaching and research endeavors. In addressing Sora, I believe it's crucial to deeply comprehend its features and adapt flexibly to the new teaching environment.

Firstly, the advent of Sora provides students and teachers with a novel space for learning and instruction. My role as a comprehensive practical activity course researcher involves designing interdisciplinary courses that stem from students' real-life experiences and developmental needs. These courses aim to cultivate students' overall qualities through exploration, service, production, and experience, focusing on core competencies such as social responsibility, innovation, and practical skills. Sora offers a plethora of teaching resources and tools, from eBooks to digital teaching materials and online courses, covering content across all subjects and grade levels. This comprehensive resource availability presents limitless possibilities for our teaching, allowing for more flexible curriculum design tailored to students' needs and interests. By leveraging Sora's data analysis tools, I can gain insights into students' learning progress, significantly enhancing teaching efficiency and feedback speed. With data-driven strategies, teaching and research plans can be more scientifically formulated and adjusted.

Secondly, Sora's integration alters the traditional roles of educators. Previously, we often dominated classrooms and disseminated knowledge. However, Sora places students at the learning forefront, promoting self-directed and collaborative learning. As educators, we must shed our authoritative roles and guide students towards autonomous learning and critical thinking. This role transformation necessitates continual learning and adaptation, developing more teaching skills and communication abilities to better support students' learning journeys. Our goal extends beyond teaching students to generate videos with a phrase; we aim to nurture their ability to identify and articulate problems from real-life contexts. By maximizing students' curiosity, eagerness to learn, and engagement, we ensure that the effectiveness of technology remains dependent on its users. Students should become individuals who understand AI principles and contribute to its advancement, aligning with the inevitable direction of the AI era.

However, challenges and uncertainties arise with platforms like Sora. As an emerging educational technology, educators must invest time to familiarize themselves with its functionalities and operations, posing a learning curve for some. Additionally, the new paradigm of data-driven decision-making requires constant reflection and adjustment, embracing and applying this concept through in-depth analysis of Sora's data to optimize teaching and research.

In response, we educators should maintain an open mindset, actively exploring and applying new educational technologies and resources. Continuous learning about Sora's features and advantages, coupled with the flexible use of its educational resources, can provide students with a diverse and enriching learning experience. By reflecting on and adapting our teaching methods, we stay abreast of new educational demands and trends.

Furthermore, building closer ties with colleagues and school administration is essential. True innovation often arises from interdisciplinary collaboration, and comprehensive practical activity courses demand methodological application, focusing on student engagement, methodological thinking, experiential deepening, and comprehensive performance. By looking ahead and taking decisive actions, educators can significantly impact the development of these courses. Sharing teaching cases, exchanging educational resources, and fostering teacher collaboration can enhance mutual learning and cooperation. Providing timely guidance and feedback will elevate our proficiency and capabilities in Sora-based instruction.

While Sora as a tool poses unresolved questions regarding human value and development, it also opens up new possibilities for education. As we push towards comprehensive digital education, educators must adapt to new tools and concepts,
