《唱中学、学中唱，相得益彰》

唱歌原本是音乐课的事。把唱歌这种娱乐形式作为一种教学手段引人到英语课堂教学中，目的就是要激发和培养学生的学习兴趣。

唱歌是深受学生喜爱的娱乐形式。现在用唱歌的方法学习枯燥的英语知识,对他们来说既新颖又有趣，简单易学。这既能调动学生学习的积极性和主动性，培养其节奏感，提高英语流畅度，又可以训练学生的听说读写能力，使学生在愉快的气氛中掌握所学知识。

学过英语的人几乎都能记住字母歌,可见教唱英语歌对教学是有益的。

1、利用歌词内容本身教学和巩固知识

在入门教学阶段，充分利用教材中给的英语歌激发学习兴趣，巩固所学知识。例如，学完 26 个字母教《I Can Say My A B C》，学一周七天这 7个生词时就教《Days of the Week》，学数词时教《The Number Song》，学问候语祝贺语 Good morning、Happy New Year,Happy birthday 等时,就教《Good morning to you》，学时间的表达法可以教《Lucy，Put Your Shoes On)，学祈使句教《Let Your Kite Fly High》和《Come and See My Family》,学情态动词就教《The SpellingSong》……甚至可以教课本以外的歌曲。如学动词 have 时教《Mary Has a Little Lamb》,学There be 结构可以教《Bingo》,学月份的12个名词教《Month》等等。但是，不可能学每个知识时都有个现成的歌曲等着我们去教去用，而且现成的歌词本身也不一定完全适合我们的教学，至多可以改一下歌词而已。因此，还需要另辟蹊径。

2、用熟悉的歌曲的曲调教所学知识

学过的英语歌曲的曲调，学生比较熟悉，我们把所学句型或课文的主要句子，填入歌曲调，又学习了新知识。例如，在教初中第1册的曲调进行教学,既巩固了原来所学的歌的曲《Read ask and answer》时,我们利用《Morning Comes Early》的曲调：

　　学生对流行歌曲是颇感兴趣的，尤其是港台歌曲，即使记不住歌词，也大都会哼调，因此我们也可以利用这个方便，教所学知识：用流行歌曲的曲调，把学到的句型或对话的“词”填进去唱出来。唱整首歌、唱片断，甚至只唱几句，都会收到良好的效果。

3、师生共同翻译流行歌曲

翻译流行歌曲应当说不是件容易事，不用说中学生，就是专业翻译，也不是轻易就译得好的。我们这里所要作的翻译，既不要求译得准、译得好，甚至也不要求译得绝对正确。我们只是通过这种形式，调动学生的积极性，激发兴趣而已。对简单的歌曲可以译全歌，个别生词查词典，之后集体唱。要么根据需要翻译片断或是其中的某几句。只要我们在课堂上学到某个英语单词或句子在某个熟悉的歌中出现了，我们就把这句歌词当场翻译成英语并唱出来。例如，学到短语 in my life（在我的一生中)就翻译歌曲《在我生命中的每一天》，然后再唱出《Every day in my life》。学 sky 或是moon 时，或是学 There be 结构，就翻译《弯弯的月亮》的片断，“通远的夜空，有一个弯弯的月亮,弯弯的月亮下面,是那弯弯的小桥,小桥的旁边，有条弯弯的小船…”学生把它译成：“In the far night sky， there is a crescent moon; under the crescent moon is the crooked small bridge; beside the bridge there is a crooked boat..."这些译文是否正确并不十分重要,关键是学生们产生了兴趣,得到了锻炼,扩大了视野,学到了知识。

教学中，语音也好，词汇也罢，直至语法都可以视情况通过唱歌的方式进行。学生在歌声与欢笑声中积极地学习，从中得到意想不到的乐趣，学到不仅仅局限于教材的知识。

　　英语动词有16个时态，用下面这七首英文歌曲，就可以教学生学习英文的不同时态等：

1、You are my Sunshine. 你是我的阳光（以此学一般现在时态）

2、Yesterday once more.昔日重现（以此学一般过去时态）

3、Lemon tree.柠檬树（以此学现在进行时态）

4、Seasons in the sun.阳光下的季节（以此学现在完成时态）

5、Monsters.怪物（以此学一般将来时态）

6、Love story.爱的故事（以此学过去进行时态）

7、Valder Fields.瓦尔德的田野（以此学过去完成时态）

8、If I were a boy如果我是男孩（以此学习过去完成时态）

9、翻译并演唱《弯弯的月亮》以此来学习there be 结构。
