<p class="ql-block"><span style="color: rgb(22, 126, 251);">新冠疫情的全球暴发，阻碍了我们去年去加拿大参加艾伦和康斯坦汀婚礼的脚步，却阻碍不了我们满怀㊗️福的心情。</span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="color: rgb(22, 126, 251);">2023 09 16是一个充满阳光的日子，晴空万里，微风徐徐。谭 莫两大家老小共 22人沐浴在温暖的夕阳下，来到座落在湘江之滨的长沙君悦酒店欢聚一堂，远眺窗外的青山碧水— 对面是郁郁葱葱的岳麓山，脚下是缓缓而流的母亲河湘江，依稀中可见独立桔子洲头毛主席塑像；近观现代与古老结合的长沙城，杜甫江阁就在一片白墙青瓦处。</span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="color: rgb(22, 126, 251);">The global outbreak of COVID-19 hindered our footsteps from attending your wedding in Canada last year, but it could not hinder our hearts full of blessings. September 16, 2023, was a day filled with sunshine, clear skies, and a gentle breeze. The Tan and Mo families, young and old, a total of 22 people, bathed in the warm evening sun, gathered at the most luxurious Grand Hyatt Hotel on the banks of the Xiang River in Changsha. They enjoyed the view of the lush green mountains and clear waters outside the window – across from them was the verdant Yuelu Mountain, and at their feet, the slowly flowing mother river, the Xiang River. Faintly visible in the distance was the statue of Mao Zedong at the Orange Island. Upon closer inspection, you can see the modern and ancient blend of Changsha City, with the Du Fu Riverside Pavilion standing tall amidst white walls and blue tiles.</span></p> <p class="ql-block">依稀可见江心的桔子洲头上毛主席的塑像。</p><p class="ql-block">The Mao Zedong statue on the Orange Island at the heart of the river can be vaguely seen.</p> <p class="ql-block">我被这片夕阳下藏在高楼中的白墙青瓦吸引。</p><p class="ql-block">You may be attracted by the white walls and blue tiles hidden among the tall buildings under this evening sun.</p> <p class="ql-block"><span style="color: rgb(22, 126, 251);">艾伦和康斯坦汀被年过九旬的奶奶拥入怀中，老人家将她最真挚的感情与祝福送给了他们。</span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="color: rgb(22, 126, 251);">Constantine and Alan were embraced by grandmother who was over 90 years old, and she gave them her most sincere feelings and blessings.</span></p> <p class="ql-block">艾伦将奶奶送给康斯坦汀的见面礼亲手戴上。一条刻着祥云的葫芦项链和一条挂着中国字“福”牌的手链，礼物无一不表达着老人家深深的爱与㊗️福。</p><p class="ql-block">借此机会，我也亲手送上了之前在土耳其买的一条珍珠手链。两条手链戴在一起，相得益彰，熠熠生辉。</p><p class="ql-block">Alan put on the gift from grandma for Constantine: a necklace with auspicious clouds engraved on a gourd pendant and a bracelet with the Chinese character "福" (meaning "good fortune"), this special gift expresses the deep love and blessings. Seizing this opportunity, I also handed over a pearl bracelet I bought in Turkey earlier. The two necklaces worn together complemented each other, shining brilliantly.</p> <p class="ql-block">我们的洋媳妇酷爱红茶，在酒店的咖啡吧，我给她点了一杯云南的滇红，给艾伦点了一杯福建的正山小种，让他们感受一下中国的地广物博。经过品尝，康斯坦汀更喜欢云南的滇红，这也是本人最喜欢的茶。</p><p class="ql-block">Our Canadian daughter-in-law loves black tea. At the hotel bar, I ordered a cup of Yunnan Dianhong for her and a cup of Fujia Zhengshan Xiaozhong for Alan, so they could experience the diversity of Chinese tea. After tasting, Constantine preferred Yunnan Dianhong, which happens to be my favorite tea as well.</p> <p class="ql-block"><span style="color: rgb(22, 126, 251);">晚宴在酒店的五楼的V6包厢举行。包厢布置得非常温馨浪漫。</span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="color: rgb(22, 126, 251);">6pm开始亲友们陆陆续续到来，大家先是举行一个小型派对，“一诉衷肠”。</span></p><p class="ql-block"><span style="color: rgb(22, 126, 251);">The dinner was held in the VIP6 private room on the fifth floor of the hotel. The room was decorated very warmly and romantically.
