Little Dragon provided a week long summer camp for the middle schoolers. All our teachers are experts in their working fields. All lessons of the camp required learners to step out their comfortable zone and let them spread their wings to find their ways. Our campers have strong passion toward learning. They behaved well, worked hard, and helped each other learn. They quickly became friends and played games together.

Academic Time

Science

We learned science in a fast- paced verbal forum, like a competition. We were divided into groups to solve technical problems and answer questions in all branches of science and math. The battles among the teams were tensing, but were exciting, interesting, and engaging.

English Language Arts

We read two short stories and a few poems. Along the way, we practiced close reading and critical thinking skills such as using details in a text to arrive at interpretations and responding to a literary text.

Aerospace Engineering

During our week-long science camp, we delved into the fascinating journey of aviation history, learned about airplane safety, and tackled intriguing questions that often pop up. Our lectures aimed to be both fun and inspiring. We used lots of visuals like pictures and videos, along with important facts, to make things engaging. Every student was encouraged to jump into discussions and to ask/answer questions. Overall, we had an interactive and lively learning experience.

Math

Mathematics mainly focused on Algerbra, including algebra simplification, quadratic equation, Vieta's theorem (Weida theorem), algebra manipulation, telescoping series, etc….
