选择正确可能是为了利益，选择善良一定是出于良知。

这是Mr. Browne让同学们写在本子上的九月箴言(September precept)。 What is a precept？Browne老师给出的回答是Basically, a precept is anything that helps guide us when making decisions about really important things. Then what are some really important things? WHO WE ARE! What kind of people are we? What kind of person am I? That is the kind of question we should be asking ourselves all the time.

Tushman校长处理校园霸凌：

Auggie can't change the way he looks. So, maybe we can change the way we see. 奥吉改变不了他的相貌，也许我们可以改变我们的眼光。

（这句话无论对家长还是对那个欺负Auggie的孩子都是一次教育。）

改变不了的是既定的现实， 能改变的是我们的内心。为了他人，我们能否做出一点小小的改变？

Auggie第一天放学回家心里很难过，妈妈耐心智慧地开导他：

Look at me. We all have marks on our face. I have this wrinkle here from your first surgery. I have these wrinkles here from your last surgery. This is the map that shows us where we’ve going. While nothing justifies striking another student，I know good friends are worth defending. 虽然殴打同学的行为不能接受，但是我知道友情是值得捍卫的。

为这位睿智的校长点赞。

Be kind, for everyone is fighting a hard battle. 善良一点，因为大家的一生都不容易。

Maybe if we knew what other people were thinking, we’d know that no one’s ordinary. And we all deserve a standing ovation at least once in our lives. 如果你能看透每一个人的心，就会知道，没有人是普通的。每个人都值得大家站起来为他鼓掌一次。

I've failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed.

我一生中有多次的挫败，但这却是我成功的原因。

我想要成为一个什么样的人？这是我们每一个人都应该反复思考的问题。

最后，我想分享下奶奶在离世前和Via说的一段话：

He has a lot of angels looking out for him. And you have me. You are everywhere. You are my favourite. 已经有很多天使在关爱他了。而你有我。你是我的全世界。奶奶最疼爱你了。

在Via看来，Augest is the sun. Her mom and dad and her are planets orbiting the sun. But she loves her brother and she's used to the way this universe works. 弟弟是家里的太阳, 爸爸、妈妈和她都是围绕太阳而转的行星。她爱弟弟，也习惯了这个宇宙的规则。

体贴得让人心疼的Via也渴望理解和关爱。奶奶离世前告诉她的这个秘密，让她感到无比温暖，充满力量。Whenever she feels low on energy, she thinks of her and what she said. But she knows Grandmothers aren't supposed to have favorites. After she died, Via held on to that secret and let it cover her like a blanket.

看到这里，再一次想起了村上春树的那段话：生活中最平淡的时光，都是只属于各自的限量版。羡慕他人的人，有一天会发现，自己也正在被他人羡慕着。

看完整部电影，希望大家能思考这样一个问题：
