2022年12月7日下午，建大附中八年级迎来了“英语学科节--美食篇”主题活动。活动当天，同学们带来了水果、面包等各种食材，每个同学在这里都化身成大厨，发挥想象，各显神通，经过他们的一双双巧手制作出一盘盘精美的食物：水果沙拉、三明治、寿司……同学间相互合作，用英语分享彼此的劳动成果和制作过程，课堂气氛异常活跃。恰逢初冬，同学们的热情为我们美丽的校园增添了一份温暖。
On the afternoon of December 7th, 2022, Grade 8 of The High School Affiliated to Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology welcomed the theme activity of " English Subject Festival – Food-Making ". On the day of the activity, the students brought fruit, bread and other ingredients. Each student became a chef here, exerting their imagination and demonstrating their talents. Through their skillful hands, they made plates of exquisite food, such as fruit salad, sandwiches, cakes, sushi, etc. The students cooperated with each other and shared their achievements and production process in English. The atmosphere was very active. Coming at the beginning of winter, the enthusiasm of our students adds a warmth to our beautiful school.

“纸上得来终觉浅，绝知此事要躬行”，八年级英语学科开展的“美食节”活动不仅让同学们大饱眼福与口福，同时也为同学们提供了很好的锻炼英语口语和写作的机会，把学生的学习视角从书本引向生活实际。学生在美食节上收获了知识与快乐，校园生活也因美食节而更加活力四射。

“Paper will sleep shallow, never know the matter want to practice”. The " English Subject Festival – Food-Making " from the eighth grade not only offered students a feast of eyes and food, but also provided students with a good opportunity to practice their oral English and writing, and guided students' learning perspective from books to reality in life. Students are able to gain knowledge and happiness in the festival, and school life is more vibrant because of this festival.
