In our group, we have Kirtana, Maisha, and Vicky. We chose The Monkey's Paw for our story. We decided to choose this story because it's similar to Aladdin, it is weird how things they wished for came true and the foreshadowing created suspense. It was very interesting and probably one of the stories that our team had fun reading. We decided to turn it into a graphic novel. We decided on this outcome because we thought it would be easier to finish since we are going on a field trip and will have less time. We also chose it because we thought it would be fun to try something we aren't really good at like drawing. We can also show how we think our characters would look better with drawings and the audience can see how we see the characters than in real life where we act it out because we are all girls and there are many boys in the story. We had to write a draft Tuesday but, because we were on a field trip, we didn't have much to finish, so we decided to divide the work and had had each person do 3 pages of the book and draw five pages each. We were tired because of the field trip, and I tried my best to do my part. We were thinking that we probably couldn't finish all the work by Wednesday because of how little time we had because of the field trip. We tried our best to finish the draft.
Something that went well was that we managed to finish the draft because of our collaboration. We faced many challenges like not having enough time and the fact that all of our drawing skills were bad. We were successful because we finished it but, the quality of it wasn't good because none of us are artists. The whole day we were out on a field trip, so we couldn't anything during school hours but when we got home we did the drafts. We felt very exhausted because we were just back from a trip and wanted to just get some rest and sleep. While doing the draft I also felt very happy while doing it because we enjoy making comics. While we were doing the draft we was thinking that it needs to be perfect but then realized that it's a draft and doesn't need to be perfect.
One thing that went well was our collaboration, we all figured out how to do the work when we didn't have time. The major challenge we faced was time, we needed more time to do the draft. Whatever we did was in a period of just a few hours. In my opinion, we weren't as successful because we didn't have enough time to do anything not even think or brainstorm for new ideas.
Something we could have done differently is that we could have started doing our draft a day before our trip because that would have given us time to add new ideas. Our outcome would have been more in our own words and more of our new ideas. We will add new ideas to our final product because the draft is just the base of how to start. Something we would like to stick to is that we can tell the story.

Mrs. White: Caring because she wants her son to be alive and cares a lot about him. She also made Mr. White make a wish for her son to come back to life.
Sergeant Major Morris: Principled because he knows what is right and wrong and tried convincing them not to use the monkey's paw. He knows the consequences.
Herbert: Inquirer because he wanted to know more about the monkey's paw from Sergeant Major Morris. The Stranger that told them about their son: Risk-taker because very less people would have the courage to tell people that someone from their family is dead.

Something that went well was that we managed to finish the draft because of our collaboration. We faced many challenges like not having enough time and the fact that all of our drawing skills were bad. We were successful because we finished it but, the quality of it wasn't good because none of us are artists. We could have started doing the draft earlier so we wouldn't be behind as much and that would have improved the quality of our work. We could have also finished it faster if we did it together and wouldn't have too much pressure on us. Our collaboration and thinking would be something we would want to keep the same because it helped us finish the draft when we didn't have much time to and we all managed to do it equally. One thing that went well was our collaboration, we all figured out how to do the work when we didn't have time. The major challenge we faced was time, we needed more time to do the draft. Whatever we did was in a period of just a few hours.

We thought we were successful because of how finished our graphic novel in just a small period of time. We got a day less than other contestants. We noticed how the teachers did not think we were successful, we only got criticized for our work and didn't get any positive feedback on what we did well. We also got accused of copying from someone which we obviously didn't. One of the teachers also made a point about how all parents are caring and we were wrong to say that Mrs. White was caring, but we realized that they were wrong because not all parents are caring. Some parents abandon their children, some parents live with their children and treat them poorly. This is a story so we can explain it using another story like Cinderella, Cinderella's stepmother wasn't caring. Not all parents are caring, even in real life, there are a lot of examples like how some parents' negligence caused negative effects on their children's life. As a group, we thought we were successful but no one else outside our group thought so. Not only did they think we were unsuccessful they also didn't like our graphic novel.

在我们组中，我们有科塔娜、玛莎和维姬。我们选择猴子的爪子作为我们的故事。我们之所以选择这个故事，是因为它和阿拉丁很相似，奇怪的是他们所希望的事情是如何实现的，而这个预兆创造了悬念。这本书非常有趣，可能是我们团队读得很有趣的故事之一。我们决定把它变成一本图画小说。我们之所以决定这个结果，是因为我们认为这会更容易完成，因为我们将进行实地考察，时间会更少。我们选择它也是因为我们认为尝试一些我们并不擅长的东西会很有趣，比如绘画。我们还可以展示我们如何认为我们的角色在绘画中会看起来更好，观众可以看到我们如何看待角色，而不是在现实生活中我们表演出来，因为我们都是女孩，故事中有很多男孩。我们不得不在周二写一份草稿，但是，因为我们是在实地考察，我们没有太多的东西要完成，所以我们决定把工作分成两部分，让每个人写3页，每个人画5页。我们因为实地考察而累了，我尽了最大的努力尽我所能。我们在想，我们可能无法在星期三之前完成所有的工作，因为我们的实地考察时间太少了。我们尽最大努力完成草案。

进展顺利的是，由于我们的合作，我们终于完成了草案。我们面临许多挑战，比如没有足够的时间，以及我们所有的绘画技能都很差。我们之所以成功是因为我们完成了它，但它的质量并不好，因为我们都不是艺术家。一整天我们都在外面进行实地考察，所以在上课时间我们什么都不能做，但当我们回到家时，我们做了草稿。我们感到非常疲惫，因为我们刚从一次旅行回来，只想休息和睡觉。在做草稿的时候，我也感到非常高兴，因为我们喜欢制作漫画。当我们在做草稿的时候，我们认为它需要完美，但后来意识到这是一个草稿。

怀特先生：冒险者，因为我们和他的儿子在国际象棋比赛中冒了很多风险，他在知道后果的情况下许了很多愿。

怀特夫人：关心是因为她希望儿子活着，而且非常关心他。她还让怀特先生许愿让她的儿子复活。
莫里斯军士长：有原则，因为他知道什么是对的，什么是错的，并试图说服他们不要使用猴爪。他知道后果。
赫伯特：询问者，因为他想从莫里斯少校那里了解更多关于猴爪的情况。告诉他们关于他们儿子的陌生人：冒险者，因为很少有人有勇气告诉人们他们家里有人死了。

进展顺利的是，由于我们的合作，我们终于完成了草案。我们面临许多挑战，比如没有足够的时间，以及我们所有的绘画技能都很差。我们之所以成功是因为我们完成了它，但它的质量并不好，因为我们都不是艺术家。我们本可以早点开始起草，这样我们就不会落后那么多，这样我们的工作质量就会提高。如果我们一起做的话，我们也可以更快地完成它，而且不会给我们带来太大的压力。我们的合作和思考将是我们希望保持不变的东西，因为它帮助我们在没有太多时间的时候完成了草案，而且我们都做到了平等。有一件事进展顺利，那就是我们的合作，我们都知道如何在没有时间的时候完成这项工作。我们面临的主要挑战是时间，我们需要更多的时间来起草草案。我们所做的一切都是在几个小时内完成的。
我们认为我们是成功的，因为我们在很短的时间内完成了我们的平面小说。我们比其他参赛者少了一天。我们注意到老师们并不认为我们成功，我们只是因为我们的工作受到批评，没有得到任何关于我们做得好的积极反馈。我们还被指控抄袭别人的作品，而我们显然没有抄袭。其中一位老师还指出，所有家长都关心孩子，我们说怀特太太关心孩子是错误的，但我们意识到他们错了，因为并非所有家长都关心孩子。有些父母抛弃他们的孩子，有些父母和他们的孩子住在一起，对他们很不好。这是一个故事，所以我们可以用另一个故事来解释它，比如灰姑娘，灰姑娘的继母不在乎。并不是所有的父母都关心孩子，即使在现实生活中，也有很多例子，比如一些父母的疏忽对孩子的生活造成了负面影响。作为一个团队，我们认为我们是成功的，但我们团队之外没有其他人这么认为。他们不仅认为我们失败了。
