孤独是人类共有的一种情绪体验。不管你是达官贵人，还是平民百姓，一生之中都会感受过孤独的滋味、面临过孤独的考验。对于普通人来说，孤独是一种被冷落、被抛弃、被隔绝的落寞痛苦。而对于艺术家来说，孤独却可能是促使你的艺术走向成功的重要因素。古今中外能流传久远的文学艺术作品，大多是艺术家经历了刻骨铭心的孤独寂寞而创作出来的。

需要说明的是，艺术创作中的孤独，不是人们想象中的缺衣少食、经济拮据等物质上的孤立无援，也不是亲情、友情、爱情上的无依无靠所引发的孤独感受。艺术上的孤独深藏于艺术家的内心世界、精神深处，旁人是看不见的，也难以理解，这才是真正意义上的孤独。

一、 艺术与孤独

中国文学艺术的功能与特质在于它是塑造自我精神家园的一种独特工作，是不断地追求思想自由、精神本真的一种生存状态。在这样一种自由而本真的生命状态下，人可以超越个体生命物理时空的有限性，而进入那具有无限广阔之境的艺术化、情感化的精神空间，与宇宙万物交融，与天地精神往来。心灵因之而飞翔，生命因之而自由。只有在这种精神情感的世界里，人性的平等与人格的尊严才能得到无差别的尊重与对待。

对于艺术家来说，艺术创造正是一个释放自我的过程。在这里，他们可以无拘无束、最大限度地敞开自己的心扉。孤独给予他们能量，带给他们灵感。艺术家以各自独特的审美和创作方式，将内心深处的思想情感依托于自然万物，借物咏怀，托物言志。正因为艺术创造的主观性、独特性和创造性，它在一开始就与偏重个体性的情感体验和注重内心的无限与自由的孤独紧密联系在一起。可以说，孤独就是一种独特而又重要的审美活动。艺术家通过感性的形式追求内心世界的无限自由，奔向彼岸世界的永恒精神王国。

艺术创造本身就是一项充满孤独寂寞的工作。人一旦爱上艺术，便需要心无旁骛地投入一生。有人说从事艺术，绘画哪能孤独？不就是随性所欲吗？其实真正的艺术创造，是一个人一生独立探索的旅程。在艺术创造上想要有成就，就需要孤独，就必须特立独行。只有经历孤独，才能引领你进入艺术创造的大门，领悟艺术深奥奇妙的真谛。更为重要的是，艺术创造需要从个体的、偶然的体验向普遍的、永恒的意识超越，应当融入到一种人类的情感之中。这样才能实现感性与理性、个人与社会、有限与无限的有机统一。所以说，经历与感悟孤独越深刻，艺术的独创性也就越突出、格调也就越高。如杜甫的“安得广厦千万间，大庇天下寒士俱欢颜”，正是因为诗人经历过极大的孤独困苦，才会有悲天悯人的情怀，才会触景生情联想到天下与自己一样的穷苦寒士的渴望，作品也才有震撼人心的爆发力，才能千古流传、为世人所传颂。

古今中外，作品能流传下来的有创造性的艺术家，也大多是经历过孤独的煎熬的，像西方的雕塑家罗丹、贾科梅帝…，画家凡·高、 马奈、莫奈，以及中国的徐渭、八大山人、石涛。只有孤独寂寞的人才能走特立独行的创作道路，才能创作出有思想、有精神内涵的高质量艺术作品。可以说，一个艺术家经历多少孤独，就有多少创造力。当艺术家孤独寂寞的心境与普世的情怀有机融合之时，其作品蕴含的悲剧意识愈强，其情感思想的深刻性、普遍性也愈深。因此，艺术创造其本身就是一项独立性非常强的孤独寂寞的事业。

1、 Art and loneliness

In such a free and true life state, people can go beyond the limitation of individual life physical time and space, enter the artistic and emotional spiritual space with infinite and broad territory, blend with all things in the universe and communicate with the spirit of heaven and earth. The soul flies because of it, and life is free because of it. Only in this spiritual and emotional world can human equality and human dignity be respected and treated indiscriminately.

For artists, artistic creation is a process of releasing themselves. Here, they can open their hearts freely and to the greatest extent. Loneliness gives them energy and inspiration. With their own unique aesthetic and creative methods, artists rely on their inner thoughts and emotions on all things in nature, chant their feelings and express their aspirations through things. At all times and in all countries, most of the creative artists whose works can be handed down have experienced the suffering of loneliness, such as Western sculptors Rodin and Giacometti, painters Van Gogh, Manet and Monet, as well as Chinese Xu Wei, Badashan people and Shi Tao. Only lonely people can take the creative road of independence and create high-quality artistic works with ideological and spiritual connotation. 二、享受孤独

首先，孤独是艺术家在群体化社会中保持“个体化”的必然选择。人有一种与生俱来的本性，即通过有目的或无目的地张扬个性、显示自我，以此来证明自己存在的价值和意义。但是在群体化的社会环境中，由于文化和环境等的制约性、规定性，往往会对人的个性进行强迫性的改变或改造，以适应社群生活的要求。所以，艺术家要回归自我、肯定个性，就必须选择孤独。因为只有在孤独中，才可能实现特立独行和个性化创造。

其次，孤独是抵达审美境界的一种重要途径。“静故了群动，空故纳万境。”艺术创造是一种想象活动，想象的过程和结果就是建构与创造，因此必须让身心为想象腾出一片宽阔的疆域，让想象有活动的空间。只有安于孤独，才能达致虚静，才能激发想象和构思，从而进入审美创造的状态。老庄哲学的“独与天地精神往来”，就是强调个体生命与宇宙时空对话，追求超越于现实的本真。也许只有独自面对天地自然时，人才会单纯自由，才能聆听到生命的律动。艺术家面对无言却又包容一切的自然，以一种有意味的孤独去感受生命最纯粹的存在，去体验生命的意义。所以，当身心与孤独达成和解，心灵才能获得一种虚静，画家对美对自然的感知能力也才能提高，才更容易进入审美创造的境界。

同时，孤独是艺术创造的原动力，李白曾咏叹“古来圣贤皆寂寞，唯有饮者留其名”。中国传统美学有“文以饰忿”的论断。司马迁在《史记》中认为，不仅“屈平之作《离骚》，盖自怨生”，而且《周易》和《诗》三百篇等等都是“此人皆意有所郁结，不得通其道”，所以著文以舒其愤。韩愈也认为“文章之作，恒发于羁旅草野”，出于逆境，源于不幸者之手，因为“物不得其平则鸣”。这些论述都说明，孤独不仅可以成为艺术创造的基本动力，也是艺术审美的崇高标准之一。艺术家以饱经沧桑的悲凉心境和强烈的孤愤，以深刻的理性认知去思考宇宙、审视社会、解悟人生，获得了超越常人的新视角、新体悟，大大促进了艺术对宇宙自然、社会人生的思考与表现的深度。

因此，孤独的本质属性可以说是肯定和彰显个性，回归和发展自我。这也是艺术创造最本质的特性与要求。但在纷纷扰扰的群体化世俗社会中，艺术家要安于孤独却并非易事。当下部分人是把艺术当作一门职业、一种挣钱或跻身上层社会的工具和途径，而不是把它作为一门严肃的学问来对待，更不要说把它作为精神寄托的载体，作为全身心投入、为之奋斗终身的事业了。

2、 Lonely Art

Man has an innate nature, that is, to prove the value and significance of his existence by publicizing his personality and showing himself purposefully or aimlessly. However, in the group social environment, due to the constraints and regulations of culture and environment, people often forcibly change or transform their personality to meet the requirements of community life. Therefore, if an artist wants to return to himself and affirm his personality, he must choose solitude. Because only in solitude can we achieve independence and personalized creation.

Secondly, loneliness is an important way to reach the aesthetic realm. "Silence makes the group move, and emptiness makes the world." artistic creation is an imaginative activity. The process and result of imagination is construction and creation. Therefore, we must let the body and mind free up a wide territory for imagination and let imagination have space for activity. Only by being content with loneliness can we achieve emptiness and stillness, stimulate imagination and conception, and enter the state of aesthetic creation. The "spiritual communication between independence and heaven and earth" of Lao Zhuang's philosophy is to emphasize the dialogue between individual life and cosmic time and space, and pursue the truth beyond reality. Perhaps only when facing the nature of heaven and earth alone, can people be pure and free, and can they listen to the rhythm of life. Facing the silent but inclusive nature, the artist feels the purest existence of life and the meaning of life with a meaningful loneliness. Therefore, when the body and mind reconcile with loneliness, the soul can obtain a kind of emptiness and tranquility, the painter's perception of beauty and nature can also be improved, and it is easier to enter the realm of aesthetic creation.

At the same time, loneliness is the driving force of artistic creation. Li Bai once chanted that "all sages and sages are lonely in ancient times, and only those who are alone keep their names". Chinese traditional aesthetics has the conclusion that "Wen plays the role of anger". Sima Qian believes in the historical records that not only "Qu Ping's work Lisao is covered with self resentment", but also "the book of changes and 300 poems" are "this person is depressed and can't pass his way", so he writes to ease his anger. Han Yu also believes that "the works of an article are always made in the wild", which stems from adversity and comes from the hands of the unfortunate, because "things can't be peaceful, they will sound". These discussions show that loneliness can not only become the basic driving force of artistic creation, but also one of the lofty standards of artistic aesthetics. The artist thought about the universe, examined the society and understood life with profound rational cognition, with his sorrowful mood and strong lonely anger, and obtained a new perspective and understanding beyond ordinary people, which greatly promoted the depth of art's thinking and expression of the universe, nature, society and life.

三、超越孤独

一个真正有所创造的艺术家，首先必须是个思想者，对任何事物都应有自己的观察角度、自己的思考判断和自己的观点，也应该坚持自己的理想、自己的目标。同时，一个真正有思想、有创造的艺术家，也应该是一个有坚定信念的朝圣者，要有一种如孤鸿般的意志，能承受生命的孤独与寂寞。只有这样，才可以在艺术的道路上独立前行，并在这种心灵孤独的状态中，去独自追寻与感悟生命存在的价值与意义。

首先，艺术家要安于孤独，虔诚于艺术。文学艺术作品，一方面是为了表达个人的精神思想、个人的真情实感而创作；另一方面也是为了自我的精神慰藉，实现人与人之间的心灵沟通。而只有守得住孤独寂寞的人，在抛弃世俗的杂念之后，他的智慧、灵感、创造潜能才能集中起来，精神才能专一，而专一则达大道。从某种意义上说，艺术乃至人生的最高境界，是通过隐遁与宇宙天地万物融通对话。也只有在此境界中，才能达到与道同一，才能真正领悟人生、艺术的真谛。也只有真正体悟了人生、自然、艺术的真谛，才能进入艺术创造的殿堂，才能创造出有个人独特面貌、有个人精神思想内涵的作品来，而作品的新意境、新境界也才能创造开拓出来。

艺术家要超越孤独，将独特感悟倾注于艺术创造之中。正如前文所言，孤独不仅是形而下的一种生活状态，更是进入艺术创造所需的一种心理状态、一种审美境界。艺术的孤独不是消极遁世、自我封闭，而是卸除表面的浮华，追求内心的旷达与淡泊，扩大内省的时空，更是以一种“众人皆醉我独醒”的独立意识，将自己对宇宙自然、社会人生的独特深切的思想感悟寄托于作品的形象之中。既观照自身，又总览世事，在孤独状态中完成对自我生命乃至人类生存状态的追问与思考。

再次，艺术家要参透孤独、享受孤独，进而达至艺术人生的和谐境界。可以说，文学艺术史上的大家，都是参透并接受孤独的人。他们畅意地享受着豁达的人生，坚持并实现着自己的理想与追求，特立独行，不随波逐流，始终保持着高尚的品格。因为一旦接受孤独、参透孤独，便会放弃无意义地寻求所谓的群体认同，不再茫然无措地四处寻找表达的对象和空间，也不再苦恼认同感的缺失，内心就自适且惬意起来，灵魂得以丰实，精神世界也就自然而然地丰盈起来。而将这种状态落实于艺术创造，就可以在神游的境界中畅想，在自足的世界里玄思。没有人和事能阻断这种“荡思八荒、神游万古”的思维和“思接千载、视通万里”的想象飞扬。所以说孤独更像是一种主动追求的内在渴望，是一项自由选择的权利，更是精神富足的一种表现。

所以说，孤独是艺术家走上成功的一个重要因素。艺术家需要正视孤独，胸怀坦荡，在安于孤独、享受孤独、超越孤独的生命体验与审美境界中，达到艺术人生的自由圆满境界，从而实现艺术家为人生、为时代、为艺术发展创造奉献的崇高使命。

4、 Lonely call

我注意到现在网络上随时都可以看到那些被众人追捧的大型展览会，像吴冠中先生曾经所比喻形容的那种画展如同假面舞会的态势好像愈演愈烈，我们如今的绘画技术应该说基本上是入流的并不示弱任何国家的古人或现代人水平差多少，然而我们却都在用娴熟的绘画技术和丰富的表现语言七拼八凑的不知所云，甚至去抄袭现成的摄影作品，这些行为完全丧失了绘画艺术如今还存在于世的根本意义，就此我说，当下艺术作品真实的文化价值及目的应该让人们在观照自然的过程中更不断地来审视自己的内心所思所想所感所悟，让我们的本心在孤独和自然面前能真正醒来，让我们的精神感知和灵魂真意能在我们的手上自然流淌出来，我想，这才是当下艺术作品对于我们的重要意义。

自由的艺术，打破限制性规则自由，才让万物得以生长。

人类思想的探索，是通过一次又一次的“打破”完成的，而破坏者往往被当下所不能理解，从破坏力超群的毕加索，到反艺术的杜尚，从挥洒生命的波洛克，到空音乐的约翰.凯奇,他们都开辟了自己的新路，无数创作者从这些先驱身上得到滋养，但对于他们自己而言，惊世骇俗并不是创作目的，他们创作的本质，是忠于灵魂的表达。
