过河舟

　影品送问候，诗歌祝早安。

但愿人长久，千里共婵娟。

中国是礼仪之邦，闻名于世；华夏之礼仪文化，渊源流长。国人在人际交往中，以不同方式表达自己的礼貌行为，其中有早上问好，晚上请安。早上和晚上向亲朋故旧的请安问候，既表现了个人的礼貌行为，又彰显了个人的品质修养。在当今社会，通过微信等媒体向亲朋好友问候早安，温馨和谐，蔚然成风。我的问候方式是摄制问候卡，向我的亲朋好友问候，祝他们身体健康，精神愉悦，开心快乐。我也把早安问候卡当作是我图文并茂的摄影小品，影品内容广泛，赏心悦目；我写的配图格律诗、人生感言，精彩纷呈，祝愿无限。美篇图像都是我的摄影作品，其中有我在加拿大多伦多家前庭后院拍摄的的庭院景观，也有我在国内外旅游的摄影照片。我摄制的的早安问候卡受到了国内外亲朋故旧的广泛喜爱。特别是我过去的学生李服保同学，自从在微信上取得联系以来，他坚持每天把我在早安问候卡里写的中文格律诗翻译成英语诗歌，让我过目或作修改后定稿。李服保是原四川外语学院（现四川外国语大学）英语系1963级学生，绵阳师范学院英语副教授。他热爱中国古诗词，对中英诗歌有一定的研究和功底，并有有一定的中文诗歌英译的能力。他在诗歌翻译时，灵活地运用了直译和意译技巧，让原诗内容在英诗里表达得音韵和谐，明白晓畅，风趣幽默，具有较强的可读性和欣赏性，为这份集摄影图像，中英诗歌于方寸之中的早安问候卡平添了一抹靓丽的色彩，让我的海内外亲朋好友享受到了温馨的早安问候、精美的视觉盛宴和中英诗歌的精神大餐！（文/过河舟）

Everything in the world always has deep feelings.

茱萸桠枝织爱心。

Branches of cornels interweave to show their loving.

庭院葱茏皆秀色，

The lush and verdant courtyard of mine really shows grace.

花红草绿尽温馨。

Red flowers and green grasses make it a cozy place.

春到庭院百花开，

Spring has come into the courtyard to make different flowers bloom.

馨香四溢引蜂来。

Overflowing aroma leads bees to the outside of the room.

蜂狂吮蕊采花蜜，

They gather nectar stamens when they are heartily sucking.

蜂姿婀娜惹人爱。

Their graceful and charming figures attract all people's deep loving.

初栽苹果发春芽，

Spring sprouts appear in the newly planted apple trees.

蓓蕾旖旎满枝桠。

Charming buds are seen on the branches in twos and threes.

喷红吐艳成新景，

Being brightly red and gorgeous they form a new scene.

小园看似一幅画。

The small garden in the yard looks picturesgue indeed.

珊瑚日落飞红霞，

Coral Sunset is truely as gorgeous as red glow.

雍容华贵气质佳。

She is noble, elegant with refinement like gold

堪比牡丹真国色，

She can match peony that's the national beauty.

惟有天香芍药花。

No other flowers can but the coral peony.

春风杨柳情悠悠，

In the vernal breeze willows swing to the joy of mine.

花满露台喜心头。

Lovely flowers all over the terrace make me smile.

美酒咖啡邀君共，

Invite friends togethet to enjoy coffee and wine.

临风品茗话风流。

Sample tea in wind and talk of affairs which are fine.

金风送爽暑气消，

The cool refreshing autumn breeze sends the summer heat away.

彩蝶翩跹逐花摇。

Butterflies whirl

round swinging red flowers where sometimes they stay.

蜻蜓起舞追云影，

Dragonflies dance up and down, soaring into the clouds that float.

浅梦盈怀醉碧霄。

Heart filled with fond dreams I am drunk looking up at the blue dome.

杨柳依依沐春风，

Tender willow branches are swinging in spring breeze.

蜜蜂翩翩绕花丛。

Little humming bees are flying round flowers freely.

莺歌燕舞迎春到，

Singing orioles and dancing swallows greet the new spring.

醉了海棠一树红。

Ravishing begonia is all over red indeed.

花木扶疏草色鲜，

Flowers and trees are flourishing and the lawn is green.

奇葩惊艳百花园。

Floral garden's exotic flowers make a fine scene.

青松塔柏万年绿，

Pines and pyramidalises are green for ever.

露台若梦花嫣然。

Gorgeous blooms on the terrace are sweet beyond my dream.

绿肥红瘦草常青，

The red languish ，the green flourish and grass is evergrowing

黄槐高柳映窗明。

Sunshine trees and takayagis make the bright like jade.

蛙声蝉鸣流莺唱，

With frogs' croaking,

cicadas'

ringing and orioles'

singing

闲坐纳凉看浓荫。

Carefree I sit idly to enjoy coolness in the deep shade.

心悦一人，

When one falls in love with a person at heart

情系一生。

Head over ears in love, they will never part.

感恩相遇，

Be grateful that they are happily wedded.

挚爱永恒。

Sincere love between them does forever last.

蓝天白云柳如烟，

Under the blue sky and the white clouds willows look like mist.

彩蝶翩跹戏花前。

In front of the flowers butterflies are dancing in twists.

暗香随风沁心脾，

Floating faint aroma sent by the soft wind makes me drunk.

浮生逐梦养天年。

Persuing ideal dreams to live an easy life I wish.

紫气东来百花哀，

Purple Air from the east makes

hundreds of flowers sigh.

翠菊吐艳惹人爱。

Brightly blooming chrysanthemums attract people's eye.

近种篱边格桑花，

Bright and charming gesar flowers are grown near the fence.

瑟瑟秋风满园开。

Against rustling fall wind they are blooming fine and dense.

春到寒舍庭院，

Spring is coming to my small humble courtyard.

百花绽放争艳。

Hundreds of blooming flowers

compete for charm.

风吹杨柳依依，

Willow twigs are swinging in the vernal breeze.

诗画意趣盎然。

A poetic picture shows interests of art.

寒舍前庭花木中，

In the front yard of my humble house there're flowers and trees.

四时风光各不同。

The scene in each season is different that you can see.

春开玉兰映沙樱，

In spring magnolia bloom to shine on sakura at all.

秋枫喷红衬芙蓉。

Maples turn red to act as foil for cottonrose in fall.

送你一片花海，

Present you beautiful flowers that make a sea.

许你一世温柔。

Promise you life-long

tenderness that you will feel.

愿你爱有所爱，

May you love whomever that are after your heart.

祝你拥有所有。

I wish you owning whatever that you do need.

人与人一场缘，

It's God's will that together people get.

心与心一段情。

It's deep emotion that makes

沉淀昨天美好，

Hold fast yesterday's good will of your friend.

Today's sincerity we must defend.

每天牵挂思念，

Deeply think of each other every day.

早安问候暖心。

Morning greetings make you feel warm and gay.

彼此当须珍惜，

Cherish each other as dear siblings do.

把握难得缘份。

Treat the common fate that's precious and cool.

夏日炎炎日照长，

In summer days are blazing hot and the sunshine lasts long.

蜜蜂采花花不忙。Flowers're calm and bees are busy gathering nectar along.

清风微吹生凉意，

Refreshing breeze is gently blowing, so a bit cool I feel.

窗前绿书品茶香。

At the green-shaded I'm reading while sampling tea.

初学种瓜瓜棚差，

I am new to grow balsam pears in a shabby shed of mine.

春枝绿叶缀黄花。

In spring yellow blossoms bloom all over the green leaves and vines.

花蕊摇落西风里，

Many stamens are swung to fall to the ground by the west wind.

一棚绿荫一棚瓜。

A shed of balsam pears in a shed of shade looks really fine.

雨后夕阳照斜柳，

After rain on the tilted willows the setting sun shines.

月夜清风浥小楼。

Refreshing breeze moistens the small building in moon-lit night.

晨露晶莹映朝霞，

The morning glow is glinted on the crystal dew of dawn.

满天红叶满天秋。

Red maple leaves in all the trees symbolize a fine fall.

金秋迎来大南瓜，

Big turban squashes are brought home in the golden fall.

顶戴花翎笑哈哈。

With peacock feathers on their hats they laugh more and more.

眉清目秀容可掬，

With delicate eyes and brows

they're radiant with smiles.

人见人爱乐谁家。

Anyone seeing them is glad and loves them all the more.

金秋十月菊花黄，

Chrysanthemums turn yellow in October of golden fall.

红枫吐艳青草香。

Maple leaves are red and

sweet is green grass either short or tall.

黄栌临风叶变色，

The leaves of common smoketrees change their color in face of wind.

前院斑斓似画廊。

Being gorgeous the front yard looks like a painted corridor.

平淡养心，

Simplicity benefits to ease mind.

真诚养友；

Sincerity helps to keep friendship.

善良养德，

Kindness promotes

good morality.

知足养寿。

Contentment leads to longevity.

夜沐新凉望秋空，

Bathing in fresh air I look up at the autumn sky.

云伴秋月入梦中。

Clouds escorting autumn moon make me dream down when I lie.

秋风习习消暑热，

The gentle autumn breeze drives away the summer heat.

绵绵秋雨染枫红。

Maple leaves red the continuous autumn rain dyes.

春风送暖到庭院，

Vernal breeze has brought warmth to my humble courtyard.

迎来鲜花又一篮。

Blooming a new basketful of flowers are.

奇花异卉千百朵，

In spite of hundreds of exotic blooms

人间最爱是清欢。

What I best love is the quiet elegance of the yard

深秋前庭尽飞花，

In mid-fall flowers fill the front yard which is a fine show.

红叶满地映晚霞。

Red leaves cover the ground

which is shone with evening glow.

秋思万缕何处寄?

Where can my thousands of autumn thoughts be sent which are deep?

心随落叶向天涯.

They just fly to the world`s end with the falling red leaves.

天高云淡庭院幽，

With the sky high and the clouds light, quiet is the back yard.

一笺新赋涌心头。

An excellent new poem has

welled up in my heart.

红橙黄绿斑斓色，

The gorgeous scene is made up of red, orange and green.

满园秋韵落笔头。

With the pen I'll extol the whole yard of autumn charm.

九九重阳菊花黄，

Chrysanthemums turn yellow on the Double Ninth Day.

粲然独放释馨香。

Alone they brightly bloom and make their aroma stay.

坐赏红黄多彩菊，

I sit to enjoy multi~coloured chrysanthemums

阅尽秋色饮杜康。

And watch fall scenes, drinking wine till it reddens my face.

新叶流丹沐春风，

Bathing in spring breeze new leaves all over the trees turn red and float.

雨露浸染更棕红。

Soaked and dyed in rain and dew they get reddish brown as a whole.

待到秋高气爽时，

When it's autumn the sky is high and the air is refreshing.

朱翠交辉映碧空。

Red and green leaves get mixed under the sky as if there were glow.

天降大雪在露台，

On the veranda snow gathers in stacks.

松柏含霜镶嵌黛。

Sypress and pine turn white mixed with black.

酷似一幅水墨画,

The scene is just like an ink painting,

清新纯洁韵意来。

Showing charm of being pure and refreshing.

征鸿旅燕惜别离，

Wild geese and spring swallows are real reluctant to leave.

枫叶翩跹挂树枝。

Maple leaves are dancing on the branches of the trees.

庭前落木飘飘下，

ln the front yard tree leaves fall to the places around.

满园绯红遍地诗。

The yard is red and it's poetic over the ground.

乘暖破寒迎春到，

Spring comes soon after warmth drives coldness away.

气香色橙花多娇。

Fragrant- smelling and orange-coloured flowers are sweet.

一夜玉尘从天降，

Overnight from the sky falls heavy snow that's like jade.

雪拥黄梅更妖娆。

Yellow plum blossoms embraced by snow produce charming

scene.

秋风秋雨沐秋枫。

Autumn wind and rain bathe the maple trees best.

芙蓉花开映枫红。

Cottonroses' blooming has dyed maples red.

翠柏挺拔衬草绿，

Tall and upright cypresses set off grass shoots.

朝晖斜照秋意浓。

Slantly shining morning glow makes autumn cool.

轻云望月掠碧空，

Light clouds escorting the moon sweep across the blue sky.

辉映白雪后园中。

The scene shines over the snow in my garden behind.

寂寥清凄似广寒，

Lonely, chilly and tragic it is like Moon Palace,

幸有香邻灯火红。

Luckily my neighbours' houses are lit with bright lights.

雏菊绽放沐春风，

Bathing in vernal breeze the daisies bloom in their bed.

静庐海棠相映红。

The quiet house and begonias are shone to be red.

芳草连天无穷碧，

Green grasses reach so faraway under the blue sky.

诗画尽在小园中。

In the small garden it's poetic and picturesque.

天降瑞雪一夜间，

Overnight there was a lucky heavy snowfall.

雪锁冰封庭院寒。

The severe cold yard is covered with snow and ice at all.

玉树琼花写诗画，

The silvery trees and flowers seem a painting with a poem in the yard.

蜀枣似灯照雪园。

The hanging lantern-like cornels

light up the snowy park.

Fine water view is hidden in green hills.

In clear water green hills are reflected.

Bright sunlight shines against clouds that are still.

碧水连天。

To horizon blue water's connected.

巍巍歌乐逼长空，

The lofty Gele Mountain rises high to touch the sky.

滚滚嘉陵流向东；

The swift Jialing River is running eastward day and night.

山高水长川外大，

By the Gele and the Jialing's near side SISU is great.

桃李芬芳五洲红。

All over the world her honored students enjoy good fame.

旧地重游，

I revisited the old place.

沧海桑田。

There great changes have taken place.

母校巨变，

Alma Mater has changed so much

令人惊艳。

That I can't recognize her face.

Reddish warm colour is the sculpture on the sports ground wall.

Along it countless green trees and blue waters form an endless sight.

寺塔高耸入云天。

White Buddhist temple pagodas rise high into the cloud sky.

鸟语花香烟霞涧。

At misty stream birds are singing and flowers sweet.

隐居泉林度春秋，

Seclude in spring woods to spend years remaining.

There's the very best Tibetan dwelling we have found.

Climb up the mountain of books when I'm indoors.

On the Paoma Mountain we walk round in twos and threes.

Touring Tagong Prairie gives tenderness everyone feels.

Passionate people come here from all

parts of the country.

Pleasant love songs make the travelling happy and carefree.

老来无事心自宽，

At an old age I am free and at ease is my mind.

赋诗填词度穷闲。

Mengding Mountain is the very source of tea.

无限风光在山巅。

On top of it there is the best scene to see.

细品人间第一茶，

While sampling the best tea in the whole world

品茗观景似神仙。

I seem to be a god watching the best scene.

七彩海水蓝若蓝，

Blue as indigo is the water in the seven-colour sea.

青山环抱天地间。

The vast space around it is surrounded by green mountains with trees.

湖水澄澈清如许，

The water in the lake is so clear as if it were a mirror.

清幽宁静似桃源。

The surrounding is as peaceful as a fictitious land of peace.

康巴党庆百周年，

Kamba people celebrate the Party's one hundred years.

欢乐锅庄舞翩跹。

To President Xi they present their hadas in a team.

砥砺前行把梦圆。

Clearing away all obstacles ahead they realize their cherished dream.

日落西山月儿弯，

As the sun sets in the west we can see a new moon.

东方欲晓霞满天。

With red glow all over the east there'll be daybreak soon.

影约轩宇蓝天下，

Houses are shadowy to see under the blue sky.

万家灯火夜阑珊。

In deep night many a house is lit with starry lights.

红枫池塘遍地诗，

Maples around the pond seem poems all over the place.

野鸭游弋戏秋池。

In fall wild ducks are swimming in the pond with fine grace.

鸿雁传书穿云过，

Wild geese are flying through clouds to pass letters of love.

红笺一纸寄相思。

Sweet words in them show love as if saying face to face.

水天一色共长空，

Waters and horizon share the same colour under the sky.

霜染枫叶似火红。

Chilly frost has dyed all maple leaves as red as burning fire.

芦苇摇弋向天笑，

Smiling to the blue sky bulrushes are swinging against wind .

山花烂漫舞秋风。

Dancing in autumn wind are wild flowers whose colour is bright.

秋草萋萋秋雨迷，

Autumn grass is flourish among the misty rain of autumn.

秋波涟涟秋水习。

Autumn wind produces

little ripples over cool water.

秋韵悠悠秋色美，

A beautiful autumn scene is made by lasting autumn charm.

秋风爽爽秋夜寂。

Cool and refreshing autumn breeze makes autumn nights long and calm.

秋风秋雨入金秋，

In the golden season

autumn winds blow and autumn rains fall.

秋境如诗岁月稠。

Autumn scene is poetic and many a year has passed at all.

红叶飘零落满地，

Maple leaves are falling and scattering all over the ground.

云深岭外雁声悠。

From deep clouds and mountain ridges come wild geese's long-lasting sound.

相知无远近，

To real friends a long distance means nothing but being near.

万里尚为邻。

Ten thousand miles away may be thought of as being here.

友谊情无价，

Priceless is the deepest passion of friendship that has no end.

A fairy from clouds comes down to take the boat.

At dusk she is eager to find her way back

春山春水好春光，

Green hills and blue waters in spring make beautiful spring scene.

百花百草百鸟翔。

Hundreds of flowers, grasses and flying birds can be seen.

烟雨空蒙杨柳岸，

A row of willows grow in the misty and rainy field.

垂丝万缕蕴诗行。

Poem lines numerous tender and long hanging twigs seem.

甜心杏嘴染丹砂，

Heart sweet, mouth small, and wearing red lipstick she looks shy.

红唇莞尔若莲花。

Lips red, looking like a lotus she gives a soft smile.

风情万种令人醉，

Her exceeding charm makes people drunk and want to share.

尤物销魂落谁家？

Who will be lucky to kiss this real beauty who's rare？

奇山异水甲天下，

In the world the exotic landscape shows its best face.

结庐幽静有田家。

A fine village house has been built in a quiet place.

村夫赶牛桥上过，

The villager is driving two oxen aross the bridge.

物象天光如诗画。

Picturesque and poetic is the scenery with grace.

水墨绘古镇，

A Chinese ink

painting the ancient town is just like.

灵水映木楼。

Clear water reflects the wooden house under the sky.

水流幽谷处，

Down the secluded valley clear water is running.

云水两悠悠。

Leisurely clouds are floating and water is moving.

上里悠悠藏古韵，

Shangli Ancient Town is hid in grace that's charming.

水墨丹青似画屏。

The beautiful scene is just like Chinese ink painting.

明清古屋向天笑，

The Ming and Qing Dynasties' houses smile at the sky.

古桥卧水水含情。

Old bridges are lying over waters which look shy.

溪水滢滢绿如蓝，

The brook water is blue as indigo as if in a dream.

烟雨生波秋水寒。

Misty rain causes tiny waves in the cold autumn stream.

墩椅疏影飘诗画，

Picturesque and poetic the chairs and stepping stones look

麻将玩家乐悠然。

Mahjong players enjoy themselves leisurely in a team.

小溪澄碧映竹楼，

The bamboo house is reflected in the blue-water brook.

坐看锦鲤水中游。

I sit there watching koi fish swimming which is good to look.

灯红草绿助酒性，

The red lanterns and green grasses add to my drinking joy.

一壶老窖心愿酬。

My wish is met with a pot of aged liquor I enjoy.

客栈亲水灯笼红，

In the front of the water-front inn, red lanterns are hung low.

蓬船倒映清溪中。

The blue-water stream in front reflects sheltered

sightseeing boats.

慢品咖啡看风景，

Leisurely sampling

coffee, on the charming sight I am keen.

陶然而乐醉仙翁。

Happy and carefree, the long-lived old man is drunk by the scene.

密林深处碧水流，

In a thick forest an impid brook is floating.

水车旋转慢悠悠。

Quite leisurely an old waterwheel is turning.

山野小轩亲倒影，

A houselet in the hill overlooks its reflection.

情寄山水度春秋。

Embracing Mother nature I spend years coming.

粤北英德山连山，

In Yingde of northern Guandong mountains connect one by one.

度假村落似江南。

Like south of the Yangzi， holiday resorts there are real fun.

游乐王国巧克力，

Chocolate Kingdom is a wonderful place for playing games.

童话小镇山水间。

A small fairy tale town between waters and hills has great fame.

马放南山云水间，

Horse set free into mountains feels happy as a lark that flies.

桑榆绚烂霞满天。

Retirement life is like evening glow to shine in the sky.

晚景如春心自在，

The scene at twilight is like that of spring to make him carefree.

养颐之乐享永年。

Enjoy spending happy late years as an evergreen pine tree.

白云悠悠过蓝天，

Floating in the blue sky are the slow-moving white clouds.

随风舒卷到窗前。

Wind is escorting them to the of my house.

伸手裁剪云两朵，

Stretching out my hand I pick two pieces at random.

With my heart gladdened poems are chanted aloud.

慢品时光静品茶，

Quietly sample tea and in no hurry spend time.

闲庭信步咏风华。

Idly take a leisurely stroll to chant youthful prime.

春夏秋冬悠然过，

Spend all the four seasons in a care-free way.

永葆童心度晚霞。

Always keep innocence to enjoy colorful evening life.

孝德山高高千尺，

The Filial Mountain is as high as thousands of feet. 孝德湖水水海深。

The water in the Filial Lake is as deep as sea.

山高水深藏恩勤，

In the high mountain and deep water parents' love and care hides.

寸草春晖报终身。

Children should repay their benevolence all their lives.

桃李三月颜无旧，

In April peach and plum flowers won't fade away.

杨柳春风色有新。

With vernal wind willow's colour is never old.

流年岁月催人老，

Fleeting years make all the people aged day by day.

珍惜光阴几度春。

Treasure the precious autumns and springs as do gold.

胜日重游湿地滨，

Revisit the riverside wetland on a warm sunny day.

春风吹过草长青。

When vernal breeze is blowing ever -green grass is growing.

水映天光绘新画，

A new painting the sunlight shining on the water creates.

黄莺歌唱和蛙鸣。

Orioles' singing is accompanied with frogs' croaking.

光阴岁月似流水，

Hours, days, months and years pass quickly as water flows.

人生何须几多愁。

One should spend his life happily forgetting all his woe.

笑看夕阳东逝水，

Smiling we watch the sun set and rivers run eastward.

把酒当歌度春秋。

Enjoying drinking and singing makes seasons turn slow.

一窗外风光入眼帘，

The fine scene outside the is well in sight.

云卷云舒绘山川。

The change of clouds creates hills and streams in the sky.

酷似一幅山水画，

They are vividly like a painting of landscape.

鬼斧神工一瞬间。

The uncanny workmanship takes almost no time.

山幽水绿旷野深，

In lonely hill there is blue water and wilderness reaches far.

风轻雨细润心情。

Refreshing cool breeze and early summer drizzle

sweeten my heart.

田禾入水成倒影，

Crops by the pond are reflected in the water, which is a sight.

莺歌蝉唱青蛙鸣。

Orioles' singing, cicadas' chirping and frogs' croaking unite.

自贡旭川气如雾，

The air over Zigong's Xushui River is foggy at all.

飞流断岩水如注。

Its water flies down along a high cliff quickly like downpour.

声若雷霆浪似雪，

Its roaring sound is like thunder and the spray is snowy white.

举世罕见市中瀑。

A waterfall within the city is world rare on the site.

昔日荒山野岭，

A vast wasteland on a barren hill of the poor old days

今日诗意栖居；

Has become a poetic habitat with a new face.

家乡小城巨变，

Great changes have wishfully taken place in my home town.

民安乐业惬意。

The folks there live and work

pleasantly

in peace safe and sound.

密林修竹屋边合，

Thick woods and tall bamboos join by the sides of a cottage of which I'm fond.

荷塘碧水映田轩。

It is reflected in the blue waters of the front lotus pond.

蝉叫蛙鸣黄鹂唱，

Cicadas are chirping,

frogs are croaking and orioles are singing.

炊烟袅袅幽悠然。

The lazy curling of kitchen smoke makes the scene quiet and pleasing.

故乡小县威远城，

The small county of Weiyuan is where my old home locates.

天翻地覆日月新。

Tremendous

changes are taking place with each passing day.

旧城依稀尚可识，

Faintly

recognisable is the whole city's old town.

新区风貌动心魂。

The style-and-feature of the new area makes me exclaim.

纯情圣洁白玫瑰，

White roses are saintly and pure.

柔情似水心相随。

They're tender as water I'm sure.

倾情爱恋灵魂里，

Whole-hearted love is in the soul.

浓情似酒为君醉。

Wine-like deep passion is for you.

春晓听鸟园中鸣，

At a spring dawn in the

garden birds sing I hear.

转悠扬动心灵。

Their singing

is melodious and pleasant to the ear.

莺歌声声唱不尽，

Oriole's singing lasts long and long without end.

晨光熹微天已明。

By the time when day breaks , it's bright and clear.

风调雨顺〔天〕有情，

Timely wind and rain show that nature has feelings.

五谷丰登〔地〕有情。

Bumper harvests of grains show that earth has feelings.

真诚相待〔人〕有情，

The sincere treatment shows that

people have feelings.

修睦相处〔和〕有情。

Getting along well shows harmony has feelings.

友谊在快乐中奔走，

In joyfulness is friendship cruising.

问候在幸福中感受。

Real happiness are greetings bringing.

真情在联系中相守，

Through contacts sincerity is kept.

安康在笑声中拥有。

In laughter truly good health is held.

春华秋实瓜果香，

A flowery spring and a fruitful autumn bring sweet melons and fruits.

五谷丰登喜洋洋。

Bumper harvests of all kinds of grains make us feel happy and cool.

辛勤耕耘得福报，

Working hard to grow crops has brought meritorious rewards to us.

丰收之乐似水长。

The hearty joy of having good harvests runs long as water does.

Who knows litchi can stand on table when people dine.

老来无事守穷闲，

Getting old I am needy and idle having few things to do.

晨坐茶楼清心轩。

Early in the morning the Refreshing Tea House I go to.

桌上早茶两三碟，

A few plates of snacks and dimsum are on the table.

品茗读诗自悠然。

Carefree and leisurely I sample tea and chant poems as a rule.

书山有路勤为径，

Diligence is the path leading to the mountain of knowledge.

学海无涯苦作舟。

Hard work means the boat sailing to the endless sea of learning.

胸藏文墨虚弱谷，

One is modest even though one is scholarly.

腹有诗书气自华。

One who is learned always behaves with elegance.

花香鸟语终南山，

In Zhongnan Mountains flowers are sweet and birds singing.

溪声山色尽是禅。

Zenic are both the mountain scene and the stream bubbling.

片片禅叶添法喜，

All the Zenic leaves add Buddhist joy to the scene.

僧心无染净如莲。

As pure and clean as lotuses are the monks' thinkings.
