Strawberry Mice

What you'll need

• Fresh strawberries
• Mini chocolate balls/chips
• White chocolate coins
• Toothpicks

How to make it：

1.For each mouse, slice a small section from the side of a strawberry so it sits flat.

2.Press a mini chocolate ball into the tip for a nose, using a small dab of icing to secure it in place, if needed.

3.Insert/add two white chocolate coins into the top of the strawberry for ears.

4.For a tail, use a toothpick to carve a small hole in the back of the berry and push the end of a piece of licorice lace into the hole.（没有这种糖就直接插了牙签代替😂）

5.Serve these berry cute treats.

p: here is a box. Let’s pretend it’s the home for the little mouse. Look. There is a hole in this box.

p: I’m going to use a mouse puppet to peek through the hole.

you will be the cat. You are going to wait near the hole and try to catch the mouse when it’s peeking out. Ok?

p: let’s sing the song and do the actions.

p&k: here is the little mouse.... peeking through the hole.....watch out. There is a cat in sight.

p: oops. You didn’t catch the mouse. The mouse ran back to its hole. Let’s try again.

p: wow, you got the mouse. What a smart cat!

p: let’s play a game. Mommy is the mouse. You are a cat.

The bedroom will be my hole. You are hiding here (near the bedroom’s door). When you hear watch out. You can jump out and try to catch me. Ok?

p: When I say watch out. The cat can try to catch the mouse and the mouse can run. The mouse can run back to the it’s home.

The Hungry Mouse

(Prepare rice, cheese and corns, hula hoop as the mouse hole)

p: before we play the game, Let’s review this book. Let’s read it. what does this mouse like to eat?

k: It likes to eat cheese, cake, sandwich, apple, cookie, pizza, banana.

p: yes. The mouse likes to eat so many yummy food.

Actually mice will eat just about anything they can find, but most mice are primarily herbivores and prefer to eat things like oats, fruits, seeds and grains.

However, they will eat almost anything if they get hungry enough including bags, ropes and their own tails.

In fact, if food is scarce, mice will even eat each other.

Mice have voracious appetites. They eat around 15 to 20 times per day, so they build their homes nearby places that have readily accessible food sources.
