基于文化背景下的思辨性阅读教学

时间:2020年11月25日下午第一节<div>地点:长沙市实验中学录播室</div><div>授课教师:陈嘉</div><div>参会人员:实验中学所有英语教师</div><div><br><div>上课内容为八年级上册U5 Do you want to watch a game show? 的阅读部分。文章较长,要处理的生词短语较多,对于一节课来说,容量肯定太大,因此对教材进行了重新的整合。将第一段和第三段整合在一起,第二段单独突破重难点如be ready to do, try one’s best, try to do, face any danger,以及第一段的背景介绍里的a symbol of, famous, culture。整个阅读处理是从米奇的性格切入,补充美国文化经济大萧条的背景知识,从What is Mickey, What did Mickey do? What is Mickey like?三个问题来思考米奇带给当时美国人的影响以及为什么米奇能成为美国文化象征。最后让学生联系自我实际,学生刚刚结束完月考,联系实际来解决问题。整个阅读课的设计基本做到read in the lines,read between the lines and read out of the lines。让学生充分和作者对话,和自己对话,对整个阅读不断思考,思辨阅读。整个教学流程如下:<br>导入:以教师的亲身经历入手,同时引入with的用法。</div></div> 教学流程:<br>Fast-reading:<br>What is the main idea of the passage?<br>A. Mickey Mouse, a famous symbol in American culture.<br>B. Some cartoons with Mickey Mouse. <div>C. Disney theme parks around the world.<br><br><div>Careful reading:<br>1.Read paragraph 1 and answer:<br>A.In which cartoon did Mickey first appear? </div><div>B.Where and when did Mickey first appear?<br>C.Who is behind the character Mickey?<br>2.Read paragraph 3 and translate the following sentence:<br>Today's cartoons are usually not so simple as little Mickey Mouse, but everyone still knows and loves him.<br> (重难点句子突破,复习上单元的as...as结构)<br>3. Read paragraph 2 and fill in the blanks:</div></div> <div>通过表格的填写,让学生输出米奇的性格特征。然后对于句子People went to the cinema to see the "little man"win. Most of them wanted to be like Mickey. 提问学生为什么美国人希望成为一个卡通形象?补充经济大萧条背景。</div>4.Show a video about the Great Depression.<div>And then ask Ss:</div><div><br></div> 4.Show a video about the Chinese women volleyball team player and let Ss describe the spirit of Chinese women volleyball players:<br>(Possible words/phrases: famous, a symbol of, be ready to, always, face any difficulty, try to do, try one's best....)<div>(就像米奇激励了美国一代人一样,中国女排的精神也是感染了一代又一代中国人,让学生用今天课堂所学的内容描述中国女排或女排精神。)<br><div>5.Summary<div>(彩蛋,情感升华)</div><div><br></div></div></div> 评课:<div>初二备课组沈平老师:思路清晰,重难点突破,补充了背景文化,设计巧妙,小彩蛋高大上。对学生进行了阅读方法指导。</div><div>初一备课组贺晓丽老师:课件精美,教材处理有新意,希沃运用成熟,与学生互动很好,mind-map生成自然,清晰。</div><div>初三备课组丁丽云老师:对教材大刀阔斧的整合。上课务实细致。长难句的读译,给出相应的背景知识及时拓展,有深度。知识点的重难点突破。引导学生寻找精神的力量。最后的简笔画是点睛之笔。</div><div>教研组长陈娟老师:阅读深挖,文化背景的补充,把英语课上成了历史和英语的结合课,深度挖掘了教材。</div>
