同学们，今天给你们介绍的绘本是The Little Prince（小王子），是法国作家安托万·德·圣·埃克苏佩里于1942年写成的著名儿童文学短篇小说。 本书的主人公是来自外星球的小王子。书中以一位飞行员作为故事叙述者，讲述了小王子从自己星球出发前往地球的过程中，所经历的各种历险。作者以小王子的孩子式的眼光，透视出成人的空虚、盲目，愚妄和死板教条，用浅显天真的语言写出了人类的孤独寂寞、没有根基随风流浪的命运。同时，也表达出作者对金钱关系的批判，对真善美的讴歌。 l was a pilot. l always flew alone. Six years ago, my plane was broken. l had to land in a desert. When l was fixing it. l heard a very low voice."Would you please draw me a sheep?" Then l saw a very small person. That was Little Prince. He smiled at me and asked for a picture of sheep again. l draw a sheep. He looked at it carefully, and said,"No.This sheep is sick." So l made another drawing."This is a ram. l want a sheep." l drew over once more. But he was still not satisfied."This one is too old." l became impatient. So l drew a box and said to him,"The sheep is inside." "This is exactly what l want. Look, he has fallen asleep!" l was very surprised to hear that. Little Prince told me that he had a flower on his planet. He watched her grow from a seed. One morning, she suddenly bloomed. She was so beautiful. He fell in love wth her. One day she said,"lt's vey cold here. ln the place that l came from..."She stopped and said nothing more. As a matter of fact. She was lying. Little Prince decided to leave. Soon, little Prince came to the first planet on his journey. The king there liked to give orders. Little Prince was tired, so he yawned. "l order you not to yawn,"the king said. "l can not help it." "Then l order you to yawn." Little Prince yawned,Then he said,"Can l ask you a question?" "l order you to do so,"the king said. "Why do adults like to give orders?" Little Prince yawned again and left. On the second planet lived a conceited man. "Good morning,"said Little Prince. "Say you admire me. Clap your hands." "What does‘admire’mean?" "lt means that you regard me as the most handsome and the smartest man on the planet." "But you are the only one on the planet!""Do me this kindness. Say you admire me!" "l admire you," Little Prince said, "This man loved himself too much." Then he left. On the third planet, there lived a man who loved drinking so much. "Why are you drinking?" asked Little Prince. "To forget,"answered the man. "Forget what l feel ashamed of." "Ashamed of what?" "Ashamed of drinking." Then the man began to drink again. "ln that way, you keep on making mistakes!" Little Prince felt confused and left. On the fourth planet, there was a merchant. "Hi !"said Little Prince. "Three and two is five. Hi, Five and seven is twelve...Aha, it's five hundred and one million!" "Five hundren and on million what?" "l am busy! Three and two is five..."the man began counting again. At last, Little Prince underatood. This man was counting stars. He thought all the stars belong to him. "This man is greedy. Stars belong to nobody," Little Prince thought. Then he left. The fifth planet was the smallest,There were only a street lamp and a lamplighter on it. "Good morning. Why have you just put out your lamp?" "Good morning. lt is the rule: to light the lamp in the daytime；to put it out in the nighttime." "Daytime?The planet is so small.lt makes a complete turn every minute." "So l have to light the lamp and put it out once every minute." Little Prince liked this dutiful man. But this planet was too small. He had to leave. One the sixth planet lived an old gentleman. "What are you doing?" "l'm a geographer. l am writing books about seas, rivers , and deserts." "lnteresting! ls there any ocean on you planet?" "l couldn't tell." "But you are a geographer!" "Ture. But l'm not an explorer." "Okay, but l like going around.And which planet would you advise me to visit now?" "The Earth," answered the old man. So the seventh planet was the Earth. Little Prince landed in the desert and met a snake. "Why do you come here?"asked the snake."l had some trouble with a flower." "Ah!" said the snake. "You are tiny!Just like a finger!"Little Prince said. "But l can be very powerful! Whomever l bite won't live long. But you're innocent,so l won't hurt you." Little Prince crossed the desert and come across a garden. "Good morning,"he said. "Good morning,"said the flowers. Little Prince gazed at them. They all looked like his flower. "Who are you?"he asked in surprise. "We are roses,"the flowers said. And Little Prince was very sad."l thought my flower was unique, but there are so many flowers almost the same as her." A fox appeared. Little Prince said,"Come and play with me." "l cannot, because l'm not tamed." "What doest that mean--tame?" "lt means to establish ties." "l see. There is a flower...l think she has tamed me..."said Little Prince. Later Little Prince met a railway switchman. "What do you do here?"Little Prince asked. "l sort out traveles." "Whay are the travelers looking for?" "They don't know." "Only children know what they are looking for," said Little Prince. "They are lucky,"the switchman said. lt was the eighth day since l had met Little Prince. He decided to go home."You know-my flower...l want to protect her." "But l want to hear your laughter..."l said. "At night, When you looking into the sky, l will be laughing to you." Then l saw a flash of yellow. He fell on the ground. l knew that he had gone back to his planet. lf you see a little man in the desert, with golden hair and a smile, he is Little Prince. 我是一名孤独的飞行员，一直孤独地飞行着。六年前，飞机出了故障，不得不着陆在一片沙漠里。正当我修理飞机的时候,突然听到一个很小的声音：“请给我画一只绵羊，好吗？”“什么？”我从飞机里跳出来，惊讶地发现面前站着一个小人儿。他就是小王子。小王子微笑着，再次请我为他画一只羊。 看着这个严肃的小家伙，我提起笔画了一只羊。他仔细地看了一会儿，摇摇头说：“这只羊病了。” 我又画了一只。他微笑地看着这只羊说：“他有角，是公羊，我想要的是一只绵羊啊。” 我画了第三幅。他还是不满意，“这只羊太老了。” 我变得不耐烦了，就随手画了只箱子，“你要的绵羊就在箱子里面。” 小王子笑了：“这才是我想要的。你瞧，小绵羊在箱子里睡着了。”我听了，感到很惊奇。 随后，小王子说，他的星球上有一株花，他看着她从一粒种子慢慢长大。一天清晨，太阳升起的时候，这株花突然盛开了，美得令人心动。小王子很快就爱上了这朵花。有一天这朵花对他说：“我很怕被风吹，你能为我找一个屏风吗？这里太冷了，我原来住的那个地方......”她嘟着嘴，没有再说下去。 事实上，这个星球是她知道的唯一一个星球。 小王子明白了她在撒谎，决定离开。小王子来到了第一个，第二个……直到他来到了第七个星球:地球。碰到了很多他不能理解的人和事情，他最终都决定离开了。（此处看英语绘本自己理解大意） 小王子穿越沙漠,来到一座花园里。（第七个星球:地球这一站） “你们好。”小王子说。 “你好。”花儿们答道。 小王子盯着这些花，她们长得都很像他那朵。 “你们是谁？” “我们是玫瑰。” 小王子很难过，“我以为我拥有世界上独一无二的花，可这里竟有这么多和她几乎一样的花。” 这时，一只狐狸跑了过来。小王子对他说：“我很苦恼，过来和我一起玩儿吧！” “不行，我还没有被驯服呢。” “驯服是什么意思？” “驯服就是彼此需要。对我来说，你只是一个普通的小男孩儿，我不需要你。对你来说，我也只是一只普通的狐狸，你也不需要我。但是如果你驯服了我，我们就互相不可缺少了。” “我有点儿明白了。”小王子说，“有一朵花......我想，她把我驯服了......” 我遇见小王子的第八天，他决定回家了。“你知道——我的花......我应该对她负责任。她那么柔弱，我要保护她。” “可是小家伙，我还想听到你笑......”我说。 “夜晚，当你仰望星空的时候，我就在那里对着你笑呢。” 随后，一道黄光闪过，他轻轻地倒在了地上。我知道他已经回到了他的星球。 如果你在沙漠里遇到一个小人儿，有着金色的头发,灿烂地微笑着，那就是小王子。 愿你对这世界，一直保持孩子般的好奇与热情。它会让你对世界多一分期待。让你成为一个见过世界，却依旧温柔的人。
