She learned about raptors last week. She told me not only hawks and eagles but also owls are raptors.</p><p> </p><p>Eagles have a hook-shaped beak and very good eyesight. Their eyes are on both sides of the head, so they can have a broad vision. </p><p>An eagle’s most useful body part may be its talons. These birds of prey rely on their sharp talons to hunt and grip prey such as mice, rabbits and squirrels. </p><p><br></p><ul><li><b>bird of prey</b>: a bird that hunts and kills other creatures for food.
